Chad I have to say I am so angry about this, angry this happened to you, angry that some people think this is acceptable.

I have to say had I witnessed this I would of been sorely tempted to make some disparaging remark about `whispering woman` within earshot so she could spend the rest of the day pondering as to why something about herself had prompted such a openly snarky reaction. That said clearly you were far more dignified than that, all credit to you for returning the guy`s head bob and keeping your composure. You stood head and shoulders above him.

For a long time my daughter was only comfortable in boys/mens clothing. We were in a department store one time and I was helping her pick out things to try on. She asked did I think anyone was `looking` at her because she was browsing the Men`s section, No I said and if they were so what. She smiled and happily went about choosing things {she does so love to shop ! :)} I then became aware someone was indeed `looking`. A chap waiting by the dressing rooms, he was watching her intently with a curiously fascinated expression and a ridiculing, sneer of a smile spreading across his face. I made sure my daughter was not aware I was discreetly observing his reaction, so intently was he watching {judging} her he was not aware either. She trotted off to try things on and I waited off to the side. When I saw her coming out and handing some items to the assistant he again became engaged in `watching` her. I stepped forward and shot him a killer look of `protective mama Bear/enraged Femme/Butch avenger` I`m sure you get what I mean ! He had the good grace to look extremely uncomfortable, struggling to hold my acid stare and began to blush profusely. I left him with a scathing up and down appraisal and we went off on our way. My daughter never knew of this exchange. I think had she noticed his reaction she would of fled with no purchases and been pretty shut down by it. I will never understand some people. :|

Thank you, Chained Daisy. I am so glad that your daughter did not witness the ugly judgment of strangers.

my pet peeve is that, my spouse does not wash out his soda can before disposing of it in the recycling!..I'ts not required here, but I just have a problem with knowing it's in there! So I end up carefully fishing them out and washing them...when he catches me doing it he always looks very innocent and wonders (out loud) how they got in there, butches! :|

Ohh! That kind stuff annoys me! It's the attitude of .... "I'm just so cute and clever with my lil whisper." <-- Grr! And 99% of the time ... that whispered comment ... comes from a chic. SMH

I'm pretty civilized but shite like that just begs my snarky side for a response. No no... nothing rude or vulgar ... maybe just a wink or a sweet smile and "Love your stems..." More often then not ... the seemly brave chic turns red. Hee! :p

Example: Today I was standing in the hall chatting on the phone with mom. A man and woman got off the elevator and stopped six feet in front of me. I stood there looking back at them (six feet in front of me) and wondered why she didn't just point at me too. Rude!

I kept talking to mom and as the man walked by me he gave me the head bob and I returned it.

This is not the first time this has happened but it ticks me off everytime.

I recycle everything possible. In my home I ask family and friends to leave the cans and bottles next to the sink. I wash everything myself before it goes into the recycle bin that way I know it is clean. Unrinsed bottles and cans attract bugs and vermin.

PET PEEV... when someone passes between me and something I'm looking at and doesn't say "Excuse me" or "Pardon." This typically happens at the grocery store. Thankfully, it's a rare occurrence and most people still demonstrate some grace! :)

Customer service reps who are rude. i had one at my own company today.

Blade 07-25-2017 07:34 PM

Had a burger with onions tonight. The onions were cut in rings.

I like my onions diced and on the mayo so they stick to something and don't fall off the bun

girl_dee 07-25-2017 07:41 PM

Cigarette butts on the ground... UGHHHH

homoe 07-25-2017 08:59 PM

The boys do the same along with empty cereal boxes in the cabinet! Really? Like I want to smell the freaken crumbs left at the bottom of the box or something??? Maybe they thought I wanted to lick the remains on the plastic bag??? Thanks guys!

Kätzchen 07-25-2017 10:16 PM

A$$holes, in general.

As perfectly irritating as these types of personalities tend to be, I never take it personally. Their behavior wholly belongs to them. There's no need to respond or engage at all.

Lyte 07-26-2017 09:53 AM

PET PEEV: driving on the freeway... someone comes up behind me ... indicating that they want to pass me... I move over to the right... and then they move up just enough to stay right beside me. W T F ?!

Or worse... they move up just enough to sit in my blind spot!! W T F ?!

Or worse... I move over to let them pass and then they c r e e e e p forward so slowly that before they actually pass me I'm going to be riding up the arse of the guy in front of me.

PEOPLE ... if you want to pass someone ... f'ing pass them already! W T F ?!

:praying:

Gayandgray 07-26-2017 10:13 AM

I really don't like when people (friends OR family) invite themselves over to my house! If I don't invite you, then obviously I do not want company.

homoe 07-26-2017 10:16 AM

I CAN NOT stand anyone reaching over and taking food off my plate! You could lose a finger or WORSE doing that...

Lyte 07-26-2017 10:17 AM

Yeah... that's not as cute as some think. Ask first.. that works better. :police:

pay them back by waking them up in 2 hours lol

I get it though. I hate being rapidly tapped on the side like the house is on fire only to tell me to roll over because I'm snoring! It's worse when I have to work the next morning and she didn't!

homoe 07-27-2017 06:16 PM

Receiving anything in the mail that the sender requests back (usually photos)!

My sister just sent me a picture of cousins that I have not seen in at least 25 years and was never close to even back then! If this picture was so treasured to her why on earth would she let it out of her sight, let alone trust the US Postal Service with it!
