Today's trip to town for my "to get" list, reminded me to be mindful of those that can't get to town to get the necessities...I can't give much these days in the way of gifts or other purchases; but I can offer assistance to my elderly and/or disabled neighbors that can't get around as easy.

Happy Early Birthday/Christmas to MEEEEE

I bought MYSELF an early birthday/Christmas present today. I haven't had the money in past years and with only my son to buy me something, I usually don't get anything except last year, thank you Dixie. Which is fine. I like giving better than receiving. But this year I had the money.....and dog gone it , I'm worth it. LOL

Bought myself a 40" TV and the full Comcast package with DVR and everything. (Which I've NEVER splerged on.) Now I can finally watch True Blood at the same time as Teh Arwen and not be a season behind. :)

*twirling around singing* Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me. *giggle*

femmennoir 12-11-2011 03:17 PM

a Trader Joe's run ( half and half, European yogurt, almond butter, whole grain crackers, prosciutto, Irish cheddar, Saint André, organic eggs, organic dog treats, tahini sauce, brown rice tortillas, avocadoes, tomatoes, cauliflower, zucchini, organic raw sugar)

I need more shoe boxes, of course!

I went to a few different Christmas stores in London and bought a bunch of really nice decorations (3 different diffusers) and a couple of sweaters from Joe Fresh. I just love their stuff.
It was a good weekend for sure!
