Unruly children

Today i was at a venue which was a wedding in a ballroom... there were many kids there and they were SO well behaved.

Meanwhile across the hall was a family reunion... and there were many kids there who were running up and down the halls being INSANE.

Why do people allow this??

homoe 08-10-2017 11:19 AM

I will only wear a wristwatch with a leather band!

If I come across a watch I really like, but it doesn't have one, I've been known to purchase it and change out the wristband for a leather one! I'm just that fussy...:fastdraq:

People who do not return their grocery buggies (carts for you non-Southerners) to the specified areas. :kungfu:

Also, nosy folks who try to pry into the personal lives of others.

this is a big pet peeve of mine.

Also people who bring their germs to work (knowingly) and infect the rest of us!

Telemarketing calls on my cell phone telling me I can make $10,000 in the next week. And no it doesn't help to block them because they just use a different number.

Ditto with the buggy/cart along with people meandering the aisles talking on their cell phones and being completely in the way. Do your shopping then go talk.

Ha! That sounds even more old-timey than buggies. Eh...maybe not. Either sounds like a horse should be involved. :)

my very nice neighbor fellow likes to stand outside his front door, which is close to mine and take quick puffs on a sweet flavored cigarillo.

the smell lingers after he goes inside, and it's just gross. When i walk outside, it's there.

Apartment life is a lot to get used to sometimes

Ugh, gross. I have a direct neighbor who goes out early in the morning to smoke. She has emphysema and sits out there hacking and coughing and smoking. Ruins my morning coffee when I'm trying to enjoy it out on the back porch.

crumbs in the butter .. leaving 1 inch of milk in the gallon... and leaving 2 pieces of cereal in the box... letting the gas in the car get below a quarter tank

I hate wearing ear buds. But I'll bring music playing things out to enhance the open air at times like that.

The material on Premium Saltine crackers gets to me every time I open a new roll. Long, long ago it was a waxed paper type covering. Easy to open and stayed closed well with a couple of twists.

Now I have to be so careful. Most of the time I use scissors ... if I don't, I will pull so hard, next thing I know is the whole damn pack flies open sending crackers everywhere. I just did that last night. :( Pisses me off something fierce!

Nabisco had a good thing going on. They should have left it like it was!

The new wrapping is thinner and cheaper.
