scrape some ice off the window and look outside

1. Check the ac unit / heater to make sure it runs properly.

2. Make sure I have enough thick blankets ( I like to keep the temp at normal temps during the winter months)

3. Make sure I have plenty of coffee grounds or hot cocoa powder to make warm drinks for later.
