I found a local orphanage I had been told about. Going to meet the kids next week and talk to them about English lessons.

Going to an orphanage this afternoon and seeing the happiness of the Director's face when I offered to do some English tuition with the kids.

The biggest of the furkids practically pulled me out of bed so that she could hop up and sleep with her daddy.

The other two furkids greeting me when I came out of the shower, and then following me back and forth in the house before finally walking me to the door. They always give the greatest most loving send offs :)

Knowing that its Friday and I get the whole weekend with Him

One week from tomorrow, our Very large furkid will be on the trailer and on his way to live with us! I am so excited I can barely sit still! :)

A good morning message, so sweet!

Waking up and partially remembering a dream - still smiling. It was simple and innocent but it was comforting. The energy reminded me that I am making the best decisions for me and I believe I am on the right track to live the way I have wanted to for awhile now.

Made a new friend today. Intriguing. I enjoy meeting people with gentle natures-- and great wits. I'm wondering if her name here conveys a love of birds-- or a "warning" *wink*. I've enjoyed her messages and am looking forward to corresponding with her more.

Really great coffee-- Not black as I can't really stomach it bitter. All that acid is killer on the digestive tract! Besides,... I like my coffee strong, sweet, and creamy... Snow. It's beautiful. And it jacks up my plans and errands for the day COMPLETELY as my left windshield wiper is acting up. But on a good note, it gives me the excuse to change back INTO pajamas after my shower this morning and enjoy-- Oh, oh, PLEASE let me enjoy-- a stress-free day.

Side Note Funny: Driving a few days ago in the rain and snow as we were already out and about running errands... I already have limited visibility, a temperamental windshield wiper, and I am not sure where the building is though I know the general area... trying to find the Center for the Hearing and Visually Impaired. I was taking my friend / one of my roommates there; she has horrible vision, is nearly fully blind. (No wonder she always flirts with me-- she can't really see what I look like). And while I see well enough to drive at this point, the entire excursion is a "Comedy of Errors"-- but still. I look over at her as I am trying to focus on a sign that I THINK directs us to the right building, and then, the whole situation hits me: I start laughing, grin over at her before asking, "Is it just me, or are you enjoying the irony in this too?"

I learned that my female friend (she is pansexual) has church associates with "concerns" about her having two men as roommates. They don't know I am FTM although they told her: "While Nicholas genuinely seems like a really good-hearted young man, and we're not really worried that he'd do anything inappropriate, Bill is... well.... It just doesn't 'look right', your having two men as roommates." I had to laugh because SHE is the one constantly making advances towards us. She has no issue with casual sex. I don't DO casual sex-- I'm only sexually/physically intimate with a woman when she and I are dating and considering that there is a possibility in the future for more to develop. I'm picky as hell about who I'll share myself with in that manner. In fact, I told a friend in chat about it, that I have had to sit down and have "the talk" with her twice this week: that while she is really sweet, I am JUST her friend and do not see her that way, that I have no desire or intent to have a romantic or sexual relationship with her... etc. etc. Yes, it has gotten to the point where I've had to go from tactful to blunt.

But her "living with two men" is the concern? LMAO! Sorry.... The irony is just amusing me to no end today!

Being asked to help out at the Mr. LA Leather contest tomorrow night and bringing Justin, which means..... she is wearing chaps!!! *Big Smiles* *Big Smiles* *Big Smiles*

Listening to a couple of elder women talk about their childhoods. You can never underestimate the value of those who came before us.

I put something in the mail today, that has a March 30 deadline. I was nominated for something and invited to submit a manuscript. I have a one in 36 chance of being selected. I'm trying to stay realistic, and I've had so much rejection on that front over the years, but still, it made me smile at the post office to open that little metal door and drop my big envelope down the shiny chute.

-A cute story about a really sweet busdriver a friend told me.

-Finishing my paper on Medea :)

-My son kissing my goodbye when i dropped him off for school.

-Waking up knowing it is Friday, even though i have class till 10pm.

Knowing that my friends are happy!

remembering my birthday treat ...fresh sweet cold raspberries on top a generous layer of delicate, creamy cranberry cheese over a thin almond crisp...and a couple glasses of Old Stone Velvet Red sweet wine that complimented my treat ever so wonderful... a relaxing evening getting to enjoy a few quiet, yummy moments and the company of a dear friend

Today Ill be driving to Columbus to be with my brother and my nephews and im soooo happy about that . I talked to my 5 and 6 year old nephews yesterday and said " hey Colin and Cameron guess what "? They said " what what what " haha . I said " the Easter bunny came to my house today looking for you both " ! They started giggling lots. I said " the Easter bunny left something for me to bring you both . Colin said to his brother Cameron " ohhhhh was it a lot of candy in baskets and toys and candy and bring them here hurry" .
My oldest nephew in the background who is near driving age said " uncle Blake , did the Easter bunny leave you money to give me " ? Haha
I said " I'm pretty sure he did Logan and you're not forgotten ".
He laughed and said " Blake I love you Mr Easter bunny "

Feeling the energy swirling around me, my friends, knowing that I can regroup to put the best effort into everything I do.

My baby played her first college softball double header today ! I remember taking her to t -ball and now a starting catcher ! Yeah , I am a proud mommy ! That time flew by !

Homemade pizza, a foreign movie on netflix and fun confersations/txts with friends.
