Oh.. and.. earlier today my son came over and hid Easter eggs for my youngest daughter to find .
It was pretty special.. even if she is 16, she still likes to be a kid at heart.. and that makes me smile. |

Every time I tell them to finish their lunch so they will get dessert... They do!! I always smile big when I hear... "Can I have dessert now, I ate all my food! See!" "I'm almost done, don't put it away yet." "I can't eat that last bite, but I tried. Please can I have dessert?" It never gets old... :D |

My very cranky sickly puppy came and cuddled with me. He hasn't wanted to be touched for about a week and this morning he came and snuggled with me. Made my heart very happy.

Spying on my little Smudgie when he was in doggie day care. I watched him for about 5 minutes before picking him up. He wouldn't leave the doggie attendants side, and was playing with another pekignese puppy! He even looked at me twice, but didn't "see" me. He was so precious! Glad he liked it, because he is going Monday and Wednesdays for the next few months :)

A joke....
A friend from high school told me this one just a few minutes ago, and I started laughing. I'd heard it before, and being from NC, I can vouch for how some stories get started on the porch swing over an iced tea or a beer.... but I couldn't NOT share it for those who know some Southerners and might not have had the chuckle.
