Going with a few of the kids from the children's home to a local shoe shop. Miss 6 Year old kept on going for the sparkly shoes with heels. "No, not until you're a big girl." Yeah, I'm a meanie.
The three girls got a pair of sandals and sports shoes (cheap ones, but better than nothing) and the boys each got a pair of sports shoes. They were happy campers. Going to see them tonight to tutor them in English. |

My aunt and uncle got a new puppy! A beagle from their local Humane Society shelter. They haven't even named her yet, and she's already settled into their house and taken over what used to be my uncle's chair. So cute!

The furkids decided to gang up on a little armadillo in the backyard this morning at 5am..the poor little guy was digging as fast as he could to get under the fence! The kids really thought they did something cool :)

Seeing a friend today early morning, being able to give my full focus to my work, seeing sleeping kittens, keeping my friends in mind while I sip coffee.

As always she seemed to know it wasn't a good day for me, still paying for almost two weeks of being out and about every day, she called to ask if she could collect my prescription from the local pharmacy because of how cold it was, to save me ending up even worse of physically. I love my Mum :) |

I had to write an exam today. I did quite well! A few little mistakes but I got a much better mark than I was expecting. :hangloose:

I had such a great day today! I had a meeting with my boss and HR at work and told my case about being bullied and I stood my ground with them. They didn't do their job and really didn't have a leg to stand on.
Then I went and got my nails done and met a girl that's on The Bold and the Beautiful. Her real name is Jackie but I think her last name on the show is Forrester, but I can't remember her first name. She drives a motorcycle on the show. She was really nice. We talked for nearly an hour while we got our nails done. I thought that was pretty cool. Then I went and picked out the new colour that I'm going to paint my bedroom.(yes Jagg, I'm painting again! lol) And last but not least, we picked up pizza tonight so I didn't have to cook! What a great day! :) |

Coming out at work. For femmes it can sometimes be quite trying in straight company when everyone just assumes you are straight as well. They want to talk about your husband, boyfriend, etc and it's just a wicked web to get all tied up in if you don't catch it from the beginning or as soon as an opportunity presents itself. Then after you do come out, there is a comfort level and relaxation where you're not walking on eggshells and tripping over your own shoelaces. It was a good day.

Spousal Unit is ill (which doesn't make me smile at all) and the kitty beasts are totally baby-sitting him! (which does make me smile!) Poor dude can't even go to the bathroom alone right now! Hy's got one on hys feet, and one up by the pillow with her head on hys shoulder.

Women, just women. Today was amazing for me. After a lovely morning phone call I was off to town. I was hugged by 3 different women (straight) who commented that I looked good and quite happy. I swear my cheeks are sore from smiling so damn much. It really felt good.

Contact with people I care for, great sales and thinking about coming home to relax after I get the errands done. Perhaps some friday night fun?

watching a couple in the parking lot ( it's been raining for days) as they approached a large puddle ....He scoops her up and carries her through the watery mess :) Didn't miss a beat :)
