There's a nice HEB at Brodie/Wm. Cannon....they have a nice bakery.....and I bought something wonderful: Cheddar~Jalapeno Bread It's not that mamby-pamby-wimpy cheddar~jalapeno bread, either. This bread has a nice little kick to it! Thought You'd wanna know......it makes lovely toast, too, btw. :eyebat: |

The Berry & I went for pedis last night at new place on S. 1st: Great Nails & Spa 2911B S. 1st 78704 M-S 9 - 7:30 Sun Noon- 5 This place is tiny....only 5 pedi stations....but OMG it is THE best pedi I have ever had!!! Seriously! They take reservations, too, FYI. The next piece of neat news: If You like Chinese food, we found a new place: First China 3305 S. Lamar (just south of Manchaca/in a strip mall with Dog Almighty, also a good place!) 78704 Pretty good Chinese food if You like typical, Americanized Chinese. The hot & sour soup is wonderful, the food is fresh. And they had a good sized room of tables in back of where we sat that would hold the Austin crowd someday....prices are reasonable. My bill was around $12. FYI |
