I finaly got up about 9:30a.m. let out the fur child,made a cup of coffee,turned on the TV..fur child barks to come in so I let her in..watched TV some more with fur child in my lap.I made breakfast,then cleaned up the kitchen.
Then the rain storm hit so its been raining fairly bad all day,between rain drops I made a mad dash to the store and back home where said fur child and me have been sacked out in the recliner till just a bit ago...sofar that all. |
breakfast, a four mile walk, and a little yoga... it's been a mellow day.

A fun day with SIL who gave me this stupid cold - did laundry, watched tv, ate, watched tv, visited relatives, wathedtv. Elf was very funny - Zooey Deschanel is my latst crush. Watching hockey right now. |
I had fun pulling weeds today, 11 acres, ...what a beautiful day to do this. Now I can just have a relaxing evening and enjoy the rest of my Saturday.

I got the bedroom my niece picked out painted. The color she wanted. It looks great. She picked a coral flamingo color . It's pretty bright but I love it. It's my fav. color but I wouldn't have chose to paint a room that color. But it's her bedroom when she visits and if it makes her happy, then it makes me happy too. And I got the house all cleaned and me and miss Maddie bought all the gifts for the angel we picked off the angel tree. She is a great shopper, she finds things fast. She was so excited to get the angel's presents. She made sure that little girl had all the best styles and colors etc, she schooled me on what was cool and what was not. (rolling eyes) She helped paint her bedroom. She is a really great painter. Not too bad for 8 yrs old.

Lot's of dishes 3 loads of laundry Cleaned every inch of the bathroom Dry and Wet Swiffered the kitchen floor Started 2 motorcycles so the batteries don't die Talked to my ex's mother Put fresh pillowcases on my bed Ordered 1 pair sandals, 1 pr shoes and 1 pr boots online. Repeatedly bothered my poor old kitty who's trying to sleep on the couch next to me by petting her Ate turkey leftovers for dinner Posted a bunch of photos on various threads here My, that's way more productive than usual. Time for pie. |

Hauled the rotten ivy covered fence panels, ivy and about half a ton of concrete, bricks and general rubble (that the original builders of the fence left behind it) to the recycling center. Dug out accumulated earth and debris ready to build the new fence. Measured up so I know what supplies I still need to get. Way too windy to finish off today. I'm nowhere near strong enough to hold up panels against that wind. Great day to fly a kite though! If I had one..... :)

I'm trying to accomplish putting up my tree but I've been at it since Friday! Everytime I get it finished, an hour later it's drunk. Leaning into the wall *lol* I take it all apart and get out the tools & shoe hammer & electrical tape it sturdy, everything back on it & an hour later, leaning again. It's been naked and standing straight for quite some time now though today. I may attempt to put the lights on it in a little while.

Finished my tree this morning.
Put up some Christmas decorations up inside. Went to Walmart. Fixed lunch. Watched t.v. all afternoon. Played Farmville. Read some threads on here. Gotta fix dinner here in a little bit. Wait for "Sister Wives" to come on at 9:00. |

Today:
got up at 6:30 and walked the dog, it was another lovely day in NYC had my morning triple espresso on the deck, checking emails had a delivery scheduled between 10 and 3 so expected to be home all day went on a morning walk by myself and checked out a couple of stores, bought some antique Christmas glass ornaments in silver and red got back in time for the Container Store truck, which came at 10:30! spent the day looking through piles of books to decide how to re-organize my bookshelves with the new set of shelves put the shelves up organized my button boxes (don't ask) vacuumed in odd corners made spicy pear chutney and canned it lingered on the deck for lunch, and later for tea went to the bank to get cash walked the dog got a bag full of stuff to take to school tomorrow (needles and yarn kids can use, books etc...) got another bag to take to Goodwill made pasta with homemade almond cilantro pesto (yum) and had a glass of wine with it checked in with my online French knitters and spinners had lemon sorbet organized more books time to go to bed but I'm not sleepy! Elle*, tired but happy |

I grouted the tile floor, in the kitchen and bath in one of the new apartments we had built.
Both apartments should be finished by the middle of December *hopefully* . Gotta love passive income. Made a sirloin tip roast. Laundry Dishes Litter box Cleaned house. A day in the life lol |

Made 4 jars of Basil Pesto from 4 large Basil plants I bought today.
Sautéed 3 large Fennel bulbs for soups and warm salads of the next few days. Finished off my Christmas shopping. Wrote out the last of my Christmas cards and wrapped the last presents to be posted. Made another pair of Thermal undies. |

I got up and fed me and the fur kid.
Wached the price is right (my morning fix). Loaded the dish washer with breakfast dishes. Worked out for an easy 45 minits,then took a walk with the fur kid to losen up. Watched more TV,jepoardy this time. Made dinner and for the rest of the evening absoloutly nada sofar. |

packed lunch for the Prince delivered him to school 3 loads of laundry dusted entire house scrubbed both bathrooms did dishes swept entire house break for a wonderful lunch phone call after lunch... trip to Petco to get the kids tags and collars remove netting and brackets from fence clean up most of mess go to Walmart..only to have to put things back bc they were only accepting cash :| went to Publix fixed dinner cleaned kitchen talking/texting with a wonderfully sweet woman! :) |
