I found this list my ex sent me in an email. We were always making lists for each other, and this really made me smile (and laugh)

1. He is very snuggly and unlike most men, he LIVES to snuggle
2. His touch is electric...his skin is so soft but there is magic in it I think
3. he always has the best of intentions even it he fucks shit up
4. he makes the best Tunafish Helper in the world and his spaghetti sauce is perfect!

9. he can be very silly. The other day he bowed and loudly worshipped the soup section of the grocery store. (he had to only eat soup there for awhile after he got out of the hopital)

11. he is devoted. once he loves you you are stuck with him forever like a barnacle on your ass
12. he loves animals. My dad told me if you find a man who is good to animals he will be good to you and to children
13. he will watch chick flicks and enjoy them. Of course he also likes guy flicks but hey, thats okay

The guys I work with are all getting ready to go out "in the field" this morning, and they came in my office to tell me to lock all the doors once they leave so they know I am safe here alone :) Since we work for the government, they are being extra cautio:)us

The NFL finallyyy released the 2013 schedule.. AND the Falcons play New England in Atlanta this year...(new thing the NFL is doing with playing teams inter-divisionally) AND... the game is on a Sunday...as we have been hoping...so we are taking a road trip and going to see the game! It will be my first time visiting Atlanta. I can't wait to see the aquarium...and there are numerous places Teddy wants to take me. He is from that area originally :)

If I'm a VERY lucky girl we will go by way of eastern NC so we can stop by my favorite winery...and pick up a hoarder's delight of blackberry wine. Massachusetts does NOT allow wine to be shipped into state...it is a huge burden of sadness for me :(

Finally seeing things for what they are and what they always will be...nice to receive clarity even when it is hurtful but to close a door is so freeing.

Got the news today....... I GOT THE JOB!!! I am so excited! For years I have been looking for a higher position/advancement, and finally the right job at the right place came along. And I think I also kicked the interview's ass. :D In two weeks or so, I'll be moving from So Cal to SW Colorado! My guy (DJ Bear) is helping me move out there and get settled. Later, Hy will join me there permanently. Hooray! The new job starts May 13. Time to celebrate! WOOOOO!!!!!

While sitting here by the west window, moments ago this afternoon, I noticed something flickering in my peripheral vision. So I turned to see that it was a squirrel, sitting on the cedar rail of my patio deck - he was so cute, sitting there trying to entice me to engage with him (or I guess, her). I played 'peek-a-boo' with them for several moments and they seemed to like that I was doing that, and then I remembered I had a can of cashews, walnuts and peanuts over on the kitchen counter. So I went and got a handful of them and carefully opened the glass doors to leave the nuts where they could get them. I thought the squirrel was going to run off, but they just sat there.... staring at me... while I left the nuts and as soon as I came back inside, they ate them all up and sat again near the west window, seemingly happy that I gave them something to eat. :)

A very sweet text from my daughter asking when I would come visit her and the grandkids. I asked if she needed anything and she laughed and said she needed everything but she just wanted to spend time with me. Haahaa! So many times I miss having my kids at home yet. They are all grown and have their own lives but they are still my little tykies. LOL!

:) Having a piece come together. Sometimes I have to let a piece sit for a while before I can see the finished product. Today 6 paintings got finished. All only needed a little bit, but it felt so good to see them done.

Someone recently asked me how I know a painting is done (I typically paint abstracts). I didn't know how to explain it to them. I just know. I know when it is wrong and needs to be painted over, when it just needs something added and when it is done. Often pieces sit for a while before I can see what needs to be done, but in the end I always know.
