Sleep outside under a truly dark sky with a million stars overhead. The Atacama Desert in Chile is the highest desert on Earth. It is a perfect place to catch the clearest sky. But it certainly isn't the only one. There are still some dark skies left.

GM3 things to do before summer ends

1. go to the ocean or some other body of water, bring a float of some kind - a donut or raft or lounger or whatever, paddle yourself way out until you can barely see the shore, then just float, I like a raft so I can take a lay on my stomach and just relax. Once very early one morning in the ocean on the way back in (btw you have to make sure the tide isn't going out) a sandpiper landed on my ankle and road me all the way to shore.

2. wait for a storm and go ride the waves in the ocean

3. have corn on the cob and watermelon for dinner one hot night outside preferably by the water.

Give me 3 things you just will not eat.

gm3 things you feel justified in complaining about at a cheap motel that didn't cost you much to begin with, gave you a plastic wrapped muffin and a coffee, "creamer" in a packet, and a lid on your way out... and 4 weeks later you still don't have little red bites on your legs.

A group of us went to a fairly nice hotel once in Chicago and ran into 2 of the three things mentioned above actually! I think now because some hotels don't change linens every day UNLESS the guests requests it, these things often happen:blink:

1.small travel size hygiene items.......(even when the airlines permit regular sizes, I used these so I can just toss the rest instead of having to lug it back home!
2. Disposal cameras.........my phone is SO OLD.....it doesn't take photos!
3. Lots of cash!

GM 3 items you've recently misplaces and can't find!

1. a beautiful turqouise, green, purple gemstone ring (I tucked it away without putting it in it's home during a party, and can't find it ANYWHERE!)
2. a notebook that I use as my work brain, I put notes in it when they pop in my head, so yep, have lost my brain (tried going digital, but it's not the same)
3. those darn socks, the dryer monster must have them!

GM3 things you'd love to lose!

1. something like a Vulcan Mind Meld in order to make it possible for one person to truly feel and to understand something from another person's perspective so we could be more compassionate toward each other

2. a Day Tripping Machine, a Transporter that would let you go back and forth to places, so I could go swimming in the ocean whenever I felt like it and visit other parts of the world without paying for planes and hotels and taking time off from work.

3. something to shrink your car so you could put it in your pocket and not have to find a parking place and/or pay for parking all the time.
