Perhaps you need your own child. I know an incredibly sweet rescue dog who's being fostered at Mud Puppies (they have a page on facebook - I'm linked to them fyi) - his name is Spencer and he is dying to love and be loved. I'd take him home myself if the house wasn't already full of kids.

I know. I couldn't resist. I saw about five babies on there that I wanted. But ALAS, I don't want to be a single dad. Once I get married then I'll think about having kids.

Maybe you could be a co-parent with someone else we know who would love to have a dog but can't quite yet.

I am at home at last!! Thanks to all the well wishes and visitors!! You all helped me make it through the week! A special tanks to OrganicButch and Arwen for babysitting the Dugan!! Hes currently asleep on my shoe!!
