Loved that song by Harper Simon (Wishes and Stars): it reminds me of a song by James Walsh (Starsailor). I think it's the style of acoustic guitar tracks, and lyrics between the two songs,
that caused me to think of song by James Walsh.

And that reminds me of this:

Last night the skies were as clear as could be and even though the chill of fall is in the air, I could see the gorgeous moon, hanging so beautifully in the nightime skies :stillheart:


And, I do love to hear songs by Ray LaMontange.

I think Cat Stevens voice, the way he plays guitar, and the kind of ballads he does, is very nearly much like that of the style of Ray LaMontange.

Help Me Make It Through The Night...makes me think of my papa because he always listened to the original...which makes me think of him singing this to put me to sleep when I was a kid:

In 2003 I went to an all day festival at Knebworth with a dear friend (crazy that was 10! years ago now). My friend was really into Robbie Williams, he's not really my cuppa, but it was a gorgeous day and the grounds are beautiful I went along unaware of the rest of the line up - I was soooooo excited when I heard Diane's voice. She's incredible!
