That was a great question homoe, so I'll use it for mine too:

Give me three ways you give back to others, at Christmas time...

1. I stay away from malls,

2. I spare a turkey or a pig by eating vegetables,

3. I try to remember that, for whatever their reason, not every celebrates Christmas, so I've learned to say things like "Happy Eid" or "Happy Chanukah"...once i figure it out.

GM3 non Christian holidays you have celebrated with others.

That's a really tough question for me, but I will say....
My youngest brother and I share an inseparable bond. My second youngest brother is tender hearted, like an child. My sister and I don't speak to each other at all, but I love her ability to step up and help my mother, which she would never do, years ago.

Give me three things you enjoy on an daily basis....

For Katzchen.....

For Katniss, next time your here:

GM3 things your daughter likes about her cello???[/QUOTE]

Just seeing this and had to ask her. She said;

1. Music makes people happy and she likes making people happy.

2. It helped her get into an arts magnet high school. This is actually the overall #2 school in our state.

3. She feels the cello is a more technically difficult instrument to learn as opposed to the piano and "violins are too screechy."

Katniss~~

Today, I will get my laundry washed and dried before noon...

Then, this afternoon, pedicure, manicure, long hot bubble bath and by evening, finish reading White Palace....

Then tomorrow, Sunday, I am doing a day trip to visit places in my area to see the beautiful trees and take a bunch of pictures :)

Give me three places you've visited during October that will be remembered for a very long time....

o O..... :balloon: ..... your daughter's answers are just exactly how I imagined that she would respond! Thanks for asking your daughter, Katniss! I agree with her, when she said that playing music makes her happy and that she likes to so so, to bring happiness to others. And, I too agree that the cello demands of its player a certain type of aptitude to ply its strings because each cello has its own mystery. That's so very cool that your daughter was admitted to an Art Magnet school....she's obviously very dedicated in her devotion to her cello! :rrose: :balloon: :hk28:

1) Thurgood Marshall Documentary Film

2) Star Wars: The Last Jedi

3) The Mountain Between Us (drama thriller)

I will most likely only get to see Thurgood Marshall, but if the other two movies are still playing by Thanksgiving, I hope to go see either one of the others!

Give me three traditional foods you like at Thanksgiving?

Miss Katz, I was just reading a review of the Marshall movie and while it got rave reviews here in the Seattle Times, they did mention it wasn't a documentary as much a very famous case he tried in the East as a lawyer defending a man against a rape charge. Regardless, I think it'll be a good movie and hope to catch it myself.

2. Protest against things you feel strongly about..I think it helped end the Vietnam war
3. Give peace a chance as demonstrated by John & Yoko's two week-long Bed-Ins for Peace (1969)
