Having my neighbors make fun of me saying " Are there skeeters out tonight?" They were like. " What the hell are skeeters? You mean mosquitoes? Here is Mass we actually pronounce the entire word. " lol I said no not true...You seem to forget the r's. ha ha.

Listening to her share about her day. Listening intently as she read to me. Knowing she got a lot accomplished today. Her laughter at the fact that she had me excited. Her being happy because I let her stay up an extra half-hour with me. Just her, everything about her. I won't let anyone mess this one up.

How I seem to have three shadows now....mine...a Riley and no one can ignore the Pepa....hard to have a lone time with Me and My shadows....

This thread makes me smile cause I have time to read some of it.

The short week makes me smile. Even though I have much to do to catch up to it already.
Being awakened, this am, by the best dog makes me smile. Now, if he would get off the couch and go get me some coffee, I would smile some more.

Waking up to an email from her. Reading that she is thinking of me. Reading that something made her happy this morning. Knowing she will text me as soon as she has a moment. Knowing when she hears this she will laugh out loud.

Getting out of training early and being able to talk to her before I went to work. Getting a text from her letting me know she is home safe. Being able to talk to her a few minutes before she got busy. The most amazing smile was knowing I was the one she wanted to talk to when she was having a troubling moment. Oh and of course the smile she gets knowing this is waiting for her.

Explaining my visual disability to our future landlord and his wife and having them ask if I would be needing any accommodations in the rental.

How very considerate was that!? :)

getting stuff accomplished today, was definately a highlight.

Knowing when she wakes before I do that she will go and look for this. Talking to her until her bedtime. Knowing she was worried about me as the tornadoes were coming through this area. Laughing at the fact that we both want to stick our heads in the oven. Even when we are both stressed how we end up laughing.

Waking up to an email from her relieved that I made it home safely. Having a heart felt talk this morning on what exactly this is. Knowing that her support group is impressed with me. Knowing that she looks forward to our time as much as I do. Being able to share my most intimate thoughts with her.

He asked the question like there would be any other any, but yes!

So far an unexpected phone call...funny how she can make me smile just with a simple conversation.

These shelter kids really amaze me when they eat the stuff folks never imagine kids to wanna eat... like: cottage cheese, yogurt, raw carrots broccoli and cauliflower.

Wednesdays are taco night. So tonight I jokingly said that the taco factory broke down and all we had was liver and onions. I never thought I would find 7 kids in one room out of 15 that were excited to get liver and onions. :blink:

Dang little Mainers are always surprising me. :)

When i was a wee lass, my mom would make liver and onions, and I'd come home from school and that smell would hit me as soon as I walked in the door. To this day I have never eaten it- I too would be AMAZED at kids wanting to try that out.

She called me up this afternoon crying because she was so excited. She works at a hospital here and applied for an in-house training/work program for 18 months. When she completes the training, she will be able to take the NCLEX-RN exam to be a Registered Nurse. She was chosen for the final interview in a couple weeks.

Working through our fears together. Being able to share our day with each other. Her letting me know that she will be late getting home in the am because she knows I will worry about her. Her getting a package today that I am excited to see. Her wanting to help me pick out a nice suit. Everything about her. I am hoping that I am her calm and comfort.

I spoke to my daughter this morning while she was at work... :)

She apparently is turning into quite the fishing enthusiast! She was telling me that she caught a 14" calico bass!

She also said her bf is too slow taking them off the hook so she does it her damn self!

And if that weren't enough, she got makeup at her favorite place, and they gave her a free make-up bag. She was soo excited because now she has something to use for her tackle! lol That's my girl! :fishingboot:

Knowing what tomorrow brings!!!! *Thud* And I get that for the whole weekend!
