Her being frustrated because we didn't get our time together this morning. Her calling me as soon as she could so I could hear her voice. Her knowing I am only trying to set rules that are best for her. Her not talking to anyone else the way she talks to me. Her desiring me.

My little cherub watching me get sweets for her from the hiding place in my wardrobe. She smiled at me and said - Now I know where you hide them I can cheek them when you are not looking, I'll bring a chair upstairs to stand on and say mummy I'm just going upstairs to do some writing but really I'll be getting sweets - bless bless and bless her innocent beautiful little heart...

Sitting at the stoplight with the top off the jeep. I noticed a guy staring quizzically at me and realized I was singing quite loudly, "Call Me' Maybe".

My doggie Cricket helping me dig in the garden :) She is part jack russel and dax...she just kept plugging along til she had a good hole dug...but not for me exactly..she just laid down in it... :|

what made me smile today?
•getting a library card again, after 20+ years •checking out FIVE queer-licious books (no, I was not banned from the library for 20 years; no, they are not picture books; and no, I did not rent corresponding movies. LMHO!!!) this also made me smile today: •my friends razzing me with the above about said library visit. :stillheart: |
Her wanting me turned on before we got off the phone. Her telling me that she missed our time today and that it sucked for her. Her telling me that I turn her on. Her letting me work through the nervousness of my audition and then letting me know in her own way that I had won the part.

Being able to talk for a while this evening and knowing we are going to talk again before the night is over. When she asked me what my plans were for this evening and I answered you....leaving her speechless for a moment always makes me smile. Figuring out that we had talked before and recalling some of those memories. I wish I could put into words what she means to me.......but alas this is the major league and I am used to the minor.

drinking wine with friends and talking to Keisha the service rep for Mom's DSL service who bonded with me over our mutual ownership of 3rd graders (who should be illegal) while I was waiting to see if she could fix the internet which I apparently broke. (She did)

Remembering how much fun I had last night. It has been a long time since I danced the night away. I have plans to do it again real soon. Realizing how much My friends missed Me.

Staying up until 3 in the am talking to her. Making sure we had made up for our time lost this week. Both of us beyond the point of exhaustion but having some intense conversations. Wanting to kiss so badly but knowing that me driving in the middle of the night would not be good for either one of us. Calling her as soon as I woke. Hearing her voice awakens me inside.

spending time with a coworker and her family who I really like the kids were adorable especially the 4 year old who gave me a kiss and told me he loved me. Although that might just have something to do with the promise to fly kites with him.
It was wonderful to get to know her family better. |
Conversation this morning with my son....
He starts with a comment about wishing he wasn't cut and segues into a description of his first sexual encounter with a girl.... grin... not graphic, but just the who, why, and how busn.... Thing that made me smile so big is... quote.....mother I took care of her before colitis even happened...endquote... I did something right... I tried so hard to raise him with no shame attached to sex... (raised Pentecostal here and had to unload a buttload of conditioning, shame dealing with sex)...so to have my son tell me about his first experience with glee... Lovely... It also made me smile to hear what he had in his toybox..... grin... apparently the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...grin |
