Now I know why our First Generation People called Lake Michigan the "laughing waters." It seems like this water is always laughing, whether it's sunny or raining. :)

Waking up to an email from her. Finally being able to talk to her for a minute after a busy morning. Being able to spend time with her and let her know how much I adore her. Being so proud of her happy moment.

OMG I don't even know where to start with today's post. First of all waking up to a text from her and then a email. Getting ready to be able to talk to her in a few minutes is also causing a smile. But are you all ready for this??? We are going on a date next weekend!!!!!! I am so excited and nervous!

Seriously... nothing in my workday but knowing I am loved by my Spritz definitely leaves me grinning. :)

Since my morning is starting earlier than it normally does we got to spend a few minutes on the phone before she had to get ready for her day. Her letting me know how special I am because she doesn't share her morning. Oh and for those keeping track........T-minus 8 days until I see her!!!!!

after being attacked by a predator that ripped her leg, my little chicken is being a champ and mending fast. She's been a sweet, quiet, gentle patient. It tickles me to watch her chase mosquitoes and bugs when I put her outside in her little cage (separating her from others while she heals). I'm happy she's a little fighter.

My daughter got her pack list for summer camp.
Amongst many things like long johns, a head lamp, and a field guide, she must bring a locking pocket knife. She may not bring a saw or hatchet. Because those are provided.

Waking up to texts from her and an email. Enjoying the time we have together even though some days it's limited. Just thoughts of her. Oh and for those of you keeping track.........T minus 7 days until I see her.

Today I found our very first tomato in the garden!! And its a cherryone at that! Natures candy.....

I also got fresh figs at the produce shop....goodies abound :)
