Spending time with friends outside of work. We all had a great time eating, laughing and relaxing.

Time with my family....I don't see my sister or my nieces and nephew often enough!

Coming home and finding a plethora of shows on the Revolutionary War to DVR.... it's probably my favorite war to study...but there's so much more information about the Civil War...which is very interesting too...

Introducing my baby sis to jerk chicken! She loved it! As did her daughter, my oldest niece...

Seeing how tall my niece Gabby has gotten....this also nearly made me cry...she's going to be America's next top model....or the next Taylor Swift....lol

My dog sister Mae Mobley....when she runs pell mell it just tickles me. She looks like a Great Dane instead of a pit...lol

Getting my niece to look at bugs and not be scared....her mother, my sister, fed her that paranoia....I should call the older sister card and give her a good whack...lol

Asking my sister to do a tap routine, on stage, as a surprise for our mother...and NOT having her say NO! We both danced as kids but never together....she and our brother were a popular act back in the day!

Just getting the inspired idea to ask my brother to join us in this...hmmmm

Waking up and talking to her before I was busy. Spending the day with my best bro and his girl. Taking pictures of the fireworks so that my girl would know that I wanted her there with me. Coming home and talking to her and catching up on our day.

Simon (a dog) and Petunia (a cat):

both are pets that belong to a friend of mine and both pets are not known to be too terribly friendly to people they don't know. Both of them were very friendly with me today and followed me around, snuggling me whenever they could.

Waking up and texting her. Getting a surprise phone call from her. Knowing in a week I will be holding her and loving her.

It was actually a few days ago...

I found out I got the position at the Nina Haggerty Centre.
It is a volunteer position where I work with the Artists, I will be there every Wednesday, at least through the summer.
The Nina Haggery Centre is an Art Centre for Artists with developmental disabilities, they do amazing work there and I am so excited to be a part of it. I think I may actually learn more from them then they do from me.

Being called out on my wrong choice...I love life lessons they continually make me smile

My daughter telling me...in her exact words....

"Mom, I'm smitten with a fella." She always was rather colorful with her words...that's my girl :) <3

A clean shave. i sometimes forget what my face looks like with a nice clean razor shave. :)

Reading an old post I made on this tread on Valentines day in 2012 that what made me smile today was, "falling in like with someone," over a year later, she is next to me now, and i'm smiling every morning, even on Mondays :)

On my way home from work part deux.....

I saw a moose! Not only did I SEE him...I damn near hit him :| It was a young bull. He darted out on his million mile legs....I beeped the horn and swerved...He darted back to the woods...but he was sooo gangly and awkward..it took a while. I was SO close to him, I heard his hooves on the pavement.

He had horns! I've always wanted to see a bull moose! It was an amazing moment I will always treasure.... :)

California Wedding Day
 

My two BFF's got married today. I stood up as best man, or best person, or witness as many called it.

kaijiara and I attended their beautiful wedding ceremony, attended by friends and family, and neighbors.

We enjoyed the afterglow of love from all those that toasted in celebration to love, to equality and to the commitment of sharing the passion for life. An afternoon of fun, fantastic food, and opening the gifts of crystal bowls, candel holders, and the obligatory toaster:)

What a great day in California.

A fun filled Sunday dinner at my home with family and friends. It rarely goes late so tonight was extra special...good times!!

I realized that these are the last 3 days money will be tight for me. I finally caught up financially after the move and losing a job due to being trans (confirmed) drained my bank account. *huge sigh of relief*

The past month and a half I went from having almost $1000 a month of disposable income to not being able to afford food. It will be good to be able to eat daily again.

Getting to spend some time with her last night after both of us being busy during the day. Talking about our days and looking forward to next Saturday. Knowing that I will see her in a few days.
