As soon as I get a whiff of that stinky smell. |
I really appreciate that California pretty much forbids smoking anywhere.
My apartment complex does not allow smoking in the apartments or on any of the grounds. It is cause for eviction if someone lights up. People have to trudge out and away in order to grab a smoke. It is one of the reasons I chose this place. Smoke is a big trigger for my asthma. I don't know what I would do in a place without any or very few laws regarding smoking cigarettes, pipes or cigars. Pipes and cigars. Forget about it. Instant wheezing. We have tons of people that vape in cars and outside of stores but I have not found that to be a problem for me. When I am near a smoker I do worry about their high risk of developing COPD in time. Sometimes, with a client, I have had to leave my door open because the smoke seems to have permeated all of their clothing and skin. I try not to gag honestly. I know it is a pretty serious and difficult addiction to break for many people. Quote:

Agree with all of you on the smelly cigarette smoke when entering/exiting public venues or even private ones, and abodes.
Like Anya, every time I see folks light up, I am thinking..in about 20 years (more or less) you will be so sorry you smoked. COPD is NOT pretty and is costly in so many ways(physically, monetarily, etc)....ay yi yi..... Nasty refrigeratpor shelves squick me out....gross!:seeingstars: |

I tend to get irritated when people don't practice common courtesy towards one another. |

Waiting in any check out lines BUT especially the one at the Post Office............

When any section of the Sunday Newspaper is omitted from my home delivery...

Going to the store to buy an item that is advertised on sale the very first day of the sale and them being "out of it"......not only does that irritated me to no end it also makes me very suspicious!

No more having to wait at the post office for me, we finally got new mail boxes at home.
However, I dare say that it's an "Crumbs in the butter" type thing for me when my mom goes 'silent' --- which is often a sign that something has gone wrong in her world and that she'll be calling, most likely ... today. In other news .... :jester: It nearly always irks me when the bus or train is late or when you just get off the train to catch the bus? The bus rolls by as if the driver doesn't see you waiting for them to stop and pick you up. Now THAT ticks me off, every single time. |
Going into a store that I'm unfamiliar with and not being able to find a clerk to ask a question I have..............
