Today I will face my fears. I will smile and hand out my card. I will be open to the abundance of the universe. I will sustain myself in healthy ways so I can make it from one 10-5 event to the 8:30-1:30am after and then 10-2 the next day. I will be vibrant and clear. I will be a lightning rod for the universe as I launch myself joyfully into the next year.

Today I will mix and mingle and make merry with friends. I will stay in my own hula hoop. I will remain grateful to the Universe for all the joy in my life. I am a beautiful, confident woman living an abundant life.

Universe, I give thanks for all the blessings known. I give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way. As I walk my path today, I will stay in my own hula hoop but I will remember those in my world who are in pain and hurting. I will forgive them now for those actions and words that they may express that hurt me. I know they aren't at a point where they can understand how they hurt others. I will be a joy-seeking missile on a mission to miss meaness in all its forms. I am a beautiful, compassionate seeker.

Relax enough to face reality when life twists and turns.
Sometimes in life, no matter how deeply we intend to make the best decisions possible for ourselves, things happen. Marriages end, jobs turn sour, friends wane. For reasons outside our control or understanding, the situation twists and turns into something other than what we bargained for. Have you been waiting for a situation to revert to what it originally was - or what you hoped it would be when you got in? Are you telling yourself that there's something wrong with you, when the reality is, the situation has changed into something other than what you thought it was? Things often don't go as smoothly as we planned. Sometimes, we need to endure and get through the rough spots. But I'm talking about those grindingly difficult moments when life suddenly twists on us. These are the times we need to quit torturing ourselves. Let go of what you thought would happen. If life has twisted on you, don't turn on yourself. Don't try to make things be the way they were. Come up to speed. Return to now. Let yourself accept the new situation at hand. The road isn't always a straight course. Sometimes, even a path with heart unexpectedly twists and turns. God, help me relax and trust my self enough to deal with reality, not my fantasy of what I hoped it would be. I know its long but particularily this time of year with family dynamics the economy and life in general I felt this was appropriate.... |
I will gather to me all the good things life has given, and discard the things that bring only worry and stress.

Today I will accept all the good life has to offer. I will remain joyful and spread that joy to others. For those of us who can't be with family and friends, know that our joy can come in different ways. Volunteer. Find another friend who may be lonely. I will reach out more today to prevent myself from turning inward. seek joy, y'all.

Rest when rest is needed is not lazy... its common senses...
I give myself permission to take the time my body needs to stay healthy and will not allow others to convince me I am being selfish or lazy. |
