I have some sheets hanging up on the line. Some I had before The Divorce; others I've bought since.

The ones from before The Divorce are these incredibly fine Ralph Laurens in oatmeal and milk chocolate. I like to mix colors, not have all one color on the bed at the same time. I used to have another color to mix in, too, but I did not get those sheets in The Divorce. They were a dark mossy green.

The new sheets I bought have patterns. One set has spiders all over it and sometimes when I wake up I see them and gasp. Ha ha. Other sheets have modified fleur de lis and paisley. These are brown, dark yellow, and light blue. Very pretty, really.

My girlfriend and I are in the process of making a honey cake for Jewish New Year and she gets the mixer out and I said "Where do you want me to go?" We were hysterical..I guess I should have rephrased it better huh??[/I]

Thats just silly, there wasn't enough room to fly out. I wedged it in the corner of the wall diagonally and used it to push up and out. My boss told me his Dad used to build boats in bottles and that he used thin long tweezers.

Toad, really? if anything it would be a frog, of the tree climbing variety, aww, kisses and for the record I can really rock the wicked witch cackle

What was I thinking? Of course there wasn't enough room. I realize you really like tree frogs. But if you are going to turn me into something how about a dolphin . I'd have way more fun that way. And I am adding 25 extra bonus points to your total score for being able to rock the wicked witch cackle!

I found a picture of myself wearing a tux at my senior prom. I put it in the photo gallery. I was pretty infamous in my little hometown after that. Well, really I was before that, too. I've since mellowed out considerably. :sock:

While reading my great aunt's obituary last night I was surprised to see......Survived by ****** her husband of 73 years.. WOW! They were living in a rest home and were still able to share a room. He is 90 couple and she was 91. I can't imagine at this point living 73 years let alone living with someone for 73 years.

That's longer than a lot of people just live.

Excerpt from: Do those funky shoes really promote fitness?

Can toning shoes deliver on their promise? Do you really get more exercise and burn more calories for each step walked?

To find out, the American Council on Exercise (ACE) commissioned a study at the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. Researchers compared people walking on a treadmill wearing a regular running shoe by New Balance and three brands of toning shoes: Skechers Shape-ups, Rebook EasyTone and MBT shoes from Masai Barefoot Technology.

The test subjects walked for 5 minutes wearing each of the shoes at 3 mph, 3.5 mph and 3.5 mph with a 5 percent grade. While they walked, the researchers monitored their heart rate, oxygen consumption and muscle usage (abdominals, butt, quadriceps, hamstrings and calves).

“Based on our research, we saw absolutely nothing,” says John Porcari, Ph.D, director of the University’s clinical exercise physiology program. “There was not even a hint of something going on.”

Grrrr...I own these:

I guess all the extra burning during my workout was all my own effort. I guess that is still a positive...and they are cute!

My dog is very curious about my thermometer. Popping up and staring still and silently every time he sees me put it into my mouth tonight. I suppose he wonders why I am not following through on eating this stick I placed in my mouth.

A call to cannibalism or a call to dinner? Or a knee-slapping, rib-tickling English teacher party joke. Hey, we have to find in humor in grammar gravitas. :-)

Two cannibals were eatting a clown when one said to the other "does this taste funny to you?"
