Being here in the world, breathing, learning, laughing, seeing. I'm present and in the moment, enjoying the now.

...but a monster cup of coffee helps, too. Champagne. Skilled flirting. The color of the leaves in fall. The laughter of my nieces and nephews. Hugs from my parents. Someone checking me out when I'm feeling low.

Happiness is having promises kept.

Happiness is...

Sitting in "our" bar watching my two gay friends celebrate their birthday.

~ Happiness is having friends that are always there for you ~ and they know you are always there for them ~ love of your family ~ self respect ~ good sex ~ ha ~

Today happiness is drinking my tea and eating my breakfast with my big ole dog asleep on my foot. I can hear the others in my house asleep, snoring as a matter of fact. I am comfortable, clean, safe and grateful for all that has transpired in my life to get me here.

Happiness is...finding out today that my son will be visiting the east coast next month and.making plans to meet up. Haven't seen him in long time ...so ready to get "my fix" (Hug him tight).

A "Salon Day" with a hot wax treatment with lavender vanilla scented wax and the refreshing feeling afterwards ...

A three day weekend
Taking the kiddo to the movies tonight and sharing a bucket of popcorn
Washing down the popcorn with razzleberry slushies
Playoff games (Go Broncos!, Go Seahawks!)

and last but not least....a completely housebroken puppy!
