I watched an interview with him,releasing his latest music,and about Lisa Hannigan
He said he would give away his fame,just to have her back.

I find his lyrics so deeply cutting and fragile,coz he is so emotional.

He could not write anything for 7 yrs after they ended.Delicate is I think my favourite song

They have an amazing vibe together, I was sad when they stopped collaborating. I have noticed that Lisa's independent music is a lot 'lighter' than what they had together.

It would be impossible for me to chose a favourite Damien song, he is such a brilliant song writer.

And I agree about Lisa,I kinda recon you could feel the intensity between them in the song writing as well,he would not have been writing in isolation from her.
this is why I am facinated by song writers :),and it's great to meet others,who are into lyrics as well.

As I said great thread,and I love hearing new music as well.
