I'm grateful that:

He gets me, even when I can't figure out how to explain things.

I have friends in many forms.

I am employed.

I have shelter, clothes on my back and food in my belly.

I have learned to say 'no' and not worry about it.

I am grateful for:

  • Neighbors who did not come flying down the stairs when I started hammering shims in at 9:30pm
  • A working DVD player so I could geek out to Star Trek (yes I bought it the day it released)
  • Enthusiasm
  • Flirting
  • Attention
  • All the love shared so openly by my friends. Not nauseating but invigorating and inspiring to see people in love. Thanks y'all!

My Princess Awesomeness.

My sister's surgery going really well and the hole in her heart is now closed.

The time I have spent learning self control. (my dad should be grateful too! lol)

My job. I love it. I just wish we had more work at the moment.

and all the daily stuff I'm sure I take for granted way too often.

*To have food on the table when so many don't

*To have healthcare benefits when so many have none, or so few that it doesn't matter

*To have to have and to have when so many have not. I am truely blessed.

My fur babies
For having a home so nice and warm to live in
For my family who has been so helpful to me
For having affordable Health Care (even with the friggin medicare RX loophole)
For having a manageable disability :)
For having some really amazing friends

I'm grateful for:

1. Free health and dental care and prescription meds, including my T, through the VA. :D

2. Good private health insurance through the FEHB (federal employee's) as an alternative to VA care, if I should need it. ;)

3. A nice comfy home, complete with fireplace, for her and I to snuggle up together and watch the biggo 46 inch Sony Bravia. :love1:

4. A good, stable, steady job with a pay raise for 2010.

5. A cute little green "son" named "Myron" who has big eyes and chases crickets at night. :frog: :awww:

6. A good, kind and loving family on both sides. ;):heartbeat:

A warm and cozy home

A soft couch that I plan to sink into later this evening

My 3 adorable dogs that will be joining me on that sofa

So You Think You Can Dance to be watched from said comfy sofa w/cuddly dogs tonight.

Meeting Timber for lunch.
Shi brought me a plate of spinach enchiladas, beef and chicken fajitas and sides.
Being told that shi was made a permanent job offer at hir firm.

I am grateful for my life in general. I am not cold or hungry or suffering.
I am grateful to be able to help make a difference in both peoples and animals lives.
I am grateful to be able to go away for three days this weekend.
I am grateful for all of the endings that I now see were so necessary for my progress.
I am grateful that my cat found his way into my life.
I am grateful for this space and the good friends I have made along the journey so far.
