I had this amazing Pelikan purple swirly fountain pen (with purple ink of course) and while I have several, it was my favorite. It was a gift from a dear friend.
It was stolen in January and I just can't seem to get used to my others.....I use them (because they're nothing like a fountain pen, IMO). I love letter~writing. |

Scoote...you can depend on a card sent out just for you !! :)...all I am having a problem with is which one will appeal most to your sense of humor...it's fun trying to get it right!...safe travels to all of you...I know we'll all enjoy getting a look at the beauty of your vacation... Jo has been busy with work and organizing the addy list and making sure it gets out that she has not had time to go find postcards yet...i know how much she wants to send some from our area out so i am gonna take it upon myself to go find some tomorrow so we can get them out before our trip...then when we are in the Bahamas we may or may not look together...but either way we will be double tagging everyone in the next 2 weeks.

ok i got postcards to send out from the Treasure Coast...we will get them ready to go out tomorrow....and please feel free to eat your hearts out when u see the scene we have EVERY night here(well when we get to the beach that is) :)

Wolfy...as far as i know postcards can be sent whenever one feels like sending them....i am assuming we will send ours from the bahamas,but who knows what the boss will decide :|

I have little post-it's with each person's name... I did a bit of stalking on a few names to try and suss out some specific interests... since I seem to be happiest when behaving like a fucking 12 year old these days...I feel the need to announce that, yesterday, I decided upon, addressed, wrote a little note upon, and stamped all the post cards for folks on Jo's list...
I got a cramp in my hand...I really did! they are in the pile, ready to go this morning...I am going to take them TO the post office since I think they will be treated better there than languishing in a dark, cold, mail box on the street....what's it called when one assigns human traits to inanimate objects?...other than 'nuts'.... oh...and...from the whole sheet of post card stamps, there is only one left! |

Well, we are heading out for Pensacola FL tomorrow...YAY! I plan on picking up some along the way, too.... so some folks are gonna get a mixture of our roadtrip adventure, not just the destination :)

just FYI, the postcards i picked up yesterday are all the same. Hell that was hard enough to decide which ones to send. I stood there so long going back and forth trying to decide i think security came by a couple times,bc they thought i was trying to steal them...:lol2: To say i tend to OVER worry about having just the right ones would not be an overstatement. :seeingstars:

I am doing the same thing. But I am doing it b/c I will be picking up local postcards until I venture somewhere else. So, everyone will get a variety of Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

I'm wondering NOW if I should send an Austin postcard before I go on my road trip! I'm getting so excited about this project!!! This is going to be such fun!
