I must list this one ... Right now, I am enjoying relief from the heat. I feel better both physically and emotionally. Due to high temperatures, I have been an irritable bastard all summer long. Not kidding! I am so hot-natured. This past summer was the absolute worst ever. |

Really enjoying reading what other folks enjoy. This thread is one of those that gives a glimpse of what really matters to us and says a lot about our character. Including our silly side, which is great, too! Sometimes posts make me feel good just because it looks like someone else is enjoying maybe a small bit of joy, but it is important enough for them to come to this thread and share it. So, that means they are in a good space.

I enjoy spending time with my roomie, we have some challenging moments "fixin" thangs, and we have fun when it is time for fun too I enjoy college football even when ALL of my teams are having losing seasons. For 23 years I enjoyed my job and looked forward to going to work every day, now not so much I enjoy living in the south more in winter than in summer. |

I really enjoy how some members will send a rep of support! Sometimes my world shrinks due to mobility issues and it can last for a bit, so, having this site to interact with "my people" is critical at these times.
I enjoy that because of the above, I am much more conscious about what may be stressing out members and can give support back. I way enjoyed being able to have a really good walk with my dog and visit with dog park people on a beautiful day! Part of the joy is about feeling that maybe this pain cycle is coming to an end and I will be back doing more physical things I like doing! I might just get to go for a 2 night camping trip this week! Yeah, in a RV... but better than nothing! Enjoyed the Giants vs. Braves play-off game today!! Hey, the Giants don't get many of these moments! I enjoy the amazing kites that people fly at the dog park I am now going to. WOW! Just all sizes, shapes... and very serious kite flyers! I enjoy kindness and good character. |
Dear ATL, I totally hear what you are saying!!! Yeah you! I deal with health issues too and find myself isolated as well. The internet allows us to reach out and help others; I have found that those who have health issues deal with it by helping others a very positive way to live.
I love reading; escaping to another time and place. Reaching into the lives of people (real and imaginary) we would probably never meet. I do love reading well written biographies but do not care too much for autobios. I also love communicating with my pets and loving on them. I love children!!!! Other people's children. Yesterday I spent time with family and had some serious discussions with a 14 mt old during our stroll throughout the garden. |
I enjoy making things - crafts, dolls, what have you.
Just got my sewing machine serviced and have a hankering to make curtains. Bought a nifty stencil kit and see stencil gifts in everyone's holiday stockings this year lol Am hunting for Doll Baby doll bodies - as it's something I can work on and still be doing other things. I just enjoy creating :) |

Today I enjoyed rolling down my window in my car and feeling the wonderful Fall air. Left my radio off and just breathed it in.... listening to the rustle of the leaves as i drove through them, the birds chirping and all of the sounds and sights of nautre. I love this time of year. It is amazing.

Going to the pumkin patch with two little guys and we are each buying the biggest and baddest pumpkin every grown! According to them. I would settle for a little one but no!!!
