I managed to accept that turning 45 today can be graceful..... among other things. |
Today was mostly about the paying job...my co-worker has resigned (sob), so all of his half-completed projects become mine. I'll have some catching up to do. :)

More dealings with the insurance company re. replacing the car and covering my girl's medical expenses. Made ever so fun by the fact that we live in two different countries. :seeingstars: Think I got the right answers today from the insurance guy - which is a REAL accomplishment! :)

I went to work and afterwards I enjoyed a pretty 1.5 mile walk outside. |

I did My usual plus went to My eye doctor appointment :)

I am so tired I barely remember... but the bigger things were:
-early morning networking meeting -client appointment (rolled over three old 401 K's she needed to consolidate and presented various financial statements for them) -office (paperwork ,submitted business, calls to clients, calls to service center on behalf of clients, etc etc etc) -phone appointment with development department at an organization I just got a grant for -booked 2 appointments -another client appointment to help fill out more paperwork on an additional rollover -shopping for dinner currently cooking dinner and trying to chill a bit before I eat... |
I survived. I consider that a victory at this point.

Managed some great advancements on a number of projects at work. Went to class (even though every fiber of my being was begging for me to skip) and ended up having a great time. I'm now checked into my hotel and settling in to rest before tomorrow's conference.

Today I finalized a presentation for a potential new client which, hopefully, leads to a potential new job! *fingers crossed*

Going to my 1st class and being a full-time student for the 1st time in my life..and getting my homework done ! yay !

I went to work I went on a 2 mile walk/jog outside since the weather is nice & I got fitted for a pair of new running shoes |
Not done yet... still have a phone conference with our Executive Director Search Consultant and a client meeting...however,
- meeting with Office group we have developed to promote our company in the community - staff meeting - office time (emails, calls, paperwork, mail, etc etc) - work out - banking errands - post office errands |

grocery shopped cleaned out some of the garage took several boxes to be donated. took and gave some clothes to my best friend. Got my lawn mowed. made dinner |

Not much at ALL, and it feels AWESOME!
:clap: I did make breakfast and dinner and we made the bed after sleeping late and watched Cougar Town and Ebon went to work early and I didn't go to work and I rinsed some dishes and got the trash ready for Ebon to take out and he did and I watched American Idol from last night and we both played on here today and we're going to work out when Ebon gets off of work. After that, we'll snack on something (hopefully nutritious) and watch the remainder of the movie we started while Ebon was on break from work. :blink: I created a very long run on sentence today. |
mailed off all the wedding pics/video/decorations to my mom, mailed her 70th birthday presents, mailed some posters from the Rijks museum to her to keep for when we get back, cleaned the room, discussed house meeting items with two other housies (we have seven people in house all together), bought a present for inks (ring making kit! we are going to make each other rings next rainy day off) at gift shop and sorted the laundry. so not a hell of a lot, really.
oh! and FINALLY uploaded some wedding photos to site. Am now going to sort out the rest and upload to face book - god that will take forever.... I have four hundred!!! |

Plus I walked about a million miles.... so that's something, right? |
So far cleaning off my desk and cleaning out my desk. Organizing stuff throwing stuff out. Course this will be an all day event because my OCD makes me look at every receipt to make sure I don't need it....mind you now all day means 2pm when Barrett Jackson comes back on for the last 4 hrs

Made cinnamon rolls
did laundry Got some things ready for work tomorrow worked on my taxes (YUCK!!! for the first year ever, I will have to pay in) got sick of smelling "stinky wet dog" because Willy's long hair takes forever to dry and soaks up all the mud and muck....so my Mudd Puppy just got his hair trimmed VERY short. (this is a MAJOR chore!!) You can see his face now!!! I swear he looked like a 12 inch high Sheep Dog!! Next is to give him a bath, after my back feels like it. Have more work to do, but just am not motivated. (w) |
Coffee and breakfast made
Dog out for his morning bidness Light fixtures washed, dried and put back up Dining room, foyer, bathroom and kitchen swept and mopped. Looked at front yard and thought about mowing it. Garage organized Face and head shaved and shower Lunch made |
Adding on:
Cleaned out the kitchen drawers and washed all of the occupants, (oven mitts, placemats, napkins etc.) along with a load of towels. Scrubbed out the truck refrigerator Cleaned all of the truck windows, dash and trim. I'm gonna be all ready for Spring! :) Quote:

Work has been super busy...taking over projects from a departing colleague, tons of conference calls...visit to the animal shelter...making lost cat posters...starting dinner (which Scoote finished making) and tomorrow is going to be even busier.

This morning before the sun came up, I made special decaf coffee for my roomie in one coffee maker.... and high test Kona in my new coffee maker. Only problem is.... my roomie didn't SEE the WHITE coffee maker filled with his coffee.... and I caught him just in time before he loaded HIGH TEST in his thermos! (Should I have said anything? I wonder what stories I would have heard, after I got home, of how his heart fluttered faster than a race horse on race day!!?)
After a VERY eventful and refreshing day at work....I accomplished an arrangement with the boss that, once fully trained, I will be "taking over the County office"...and not working as "Low Coordinator on the Totem Pole" as originally thought. (I had thought I'd be one of 3 Coordinators in a satellite County office.) I met a lot of people....don't ask me their names.... Set up my new work Lap Top with a bunch of different software and accesses.... and I walked what feels like 100 miles today.... all on the same floor of one office building. I should have worn my pedometer!! I accomplished exhausting myself after not getting much rest last night and driving in NASTY traffic. |
I worked, I auctioned, I worked some more, I did business errands, I drove home, I ate and I am here.
There's not much energy left, so that's probably going to be it for today. |
