How can this BBC commentator say that the debate was a "draw" when Trump doesn't answer questions, lies, has no firm understanding of policy, and is INCOHERENT?!

I mean, wtf is the criteria to evaluate his debate performance??? That he just doesn't start yelling, crying, or stamping his feet?

I do feel in the first 30 min or so drump was really directly insulting HRC. At one point he referred to her as the devil. I think the moderators should have stopped that from the get go. It is not something as an observer I feel should have happened and it only encouraged him to insult her more. I think at one point HRC looked at the moderators as if to say...hello??? Are you hearing what I am hearing.

After watching this debate, I need a shower.

That was a train wreck!! Winner isn't as clear to me as was the first one. I'm thinking Hillary by a smaller margin than the first time.

there is a building in Baltimore, called the post office. It was long ago a post office and a huge one. There have been repeated attempts to buy it and turn into high priced condos. It now houses a historical tour in the top tiers, and shops below. Over controversial issues ( I don't know exactly ) drump has acquired the building and I think nothing has been done to it as of yet due to how he acquired it I think.

I think it was a slight win for Clinton but I'm sure his supporters will think he won.

Some of the talking heads are saying him doing okay is actually good because if he had bombed maybe he would have dropped out, so this benefits Clinton to just have him stay in the race. Maybe that's just spin, lol.

It was an ugly debate to watch but I think Clinton did good enough.

So once again he and his standard of knowledge is held to a different level than HRC who is expected to show as articulate, educated and well experienced. But if drump does not fuck up its even steven. WTF??

I wonder if it is the drump supporters who think its a shame that when 9/11 happened that Obama was not in the white house but on vacation somewhere, or maybe the supports of drump who think that HRC has a double that stands in for her due to her parkinsons, or maybe the guy who says Bill and Hillary have aids due to sleeping with Magic Johnson is googling a lepo!!

The media has to pretend Trump is still a contender, the ads people, the purchasing of millions of dollars of ads.

Liar Liar Pence on Fire just deflected a question on MSNBC whether he was pledged to remain on the ticket.

What is going to happen when more of his disgusting tapes are revealed and released? Let's face it, 25 to 35 percent of Trump supporters are a basket of deplorables, the rest are just not paying attention.

I missed watching this live; I am attempting to watch it now. Donald's "mike" is sniffing again in this debate, making it difficult to watch.

If you watch the debate again, look closely....Trump is reading Hillary's notes on her podium during his "wandering" on stage!

The pundits were complaining that HRC did not deliver a knockout blow.

Well, here's a suggestion.

The next time he refers to those horrid comments as just "locker room talk", HRC needs to turn to him and simply ask "Is publicly discussing your daughter's breasts and references to her as a "fine piece of ass" also just locker room talk"

I do not believe there is any conceivable defence Trump can make that will not nauseate voters...even in his base.

Hillary Clintin walks a fine line here. Hillary is a woman who fights for women, children and families...I think it would be the end of her campaign if it appears that she is using his children against him.

Sad as it is, Hillary is held to COMPLETELY different standards due to her gender.

But this is just my opinion.

2nd Debate= Whatever..at the end of the day, she will get the silent minority vote and win.

She wouldn't be using his children against him. She would be exposing his ugly core. She isn't attacking his children she is exposing that his attitudes towards women extend even to sexualising his children.
She doesn't have to say it but her surrogates can....and I doubt anyone hearing it would conclude "poor Donald" look how she is pointing to how he talks about his daughter.

You really think people would turn away from her for pointing out what an abusive perverse parent he is?
And there are lots of indirect ways to make those references. That's why they have "surrogates".

You just have to wonder what she may be thinking. His remarks on the bus were made just a little while after he married her. How tragic. She and Hillary have a lot in common. She did not look the least bit happy at the debate.

I guess I just get tired of opponents taking slams from Trump and not slamming back. His primary opponents know how effective that was. He won.

I see no reason why HRC needs to back away from Trump's assessment of her as a "fighter".

She needs to slam him and slam him good . I think a lot of women ( and men) would like to see him on his ass and WHY WHY should she be afraid of offending his voters cause EVERYONE else already thinks he is a pig. It is time to Toss the Shit Back Into His Face rather than being bullied into backing off from offending HIS voters. I seriously doubt any undecided voters would side with him if her surrogates exposed his ugly comments about his daughter....

Think about it: yeah he said those horrid things about his daughter but she brought them up...I'm going to vote for him cause what she did is terrible. Hey and yeah, his daughter does have great "tits and ass". Go Donald.

You make a very good point, Collette; no matter what fucked up things Donald Trump has said or done in the past or present, his core base will NEVER abandon him (it's nauseating thinking about how many millions of Americans are in this group). HRC needs to slam back harder--her base, and maybe some on the fence or that younger generation--might come around to her vote. And get those surrogates to fight in a fiercer fashion. Ana Navarro is the only one I can think off the top of my head who has NO QUALMS about slamming his fuckery down!
