Sleep
Last night I slept 7 hours. I got back from Houston at 10:00 pm but told work that I would be in late today so I got a mini sleep in. I also fell asleep for 30 minutes on the rideshare this afternoon (I was a passenger ).

Maybe like 12:30am to 5:45 am, so like 5+. This week has been brutal and thankfully it's almost over. I am so tired it's painful. Now I have 9 days off before I go back to work (school vacation). I will do lots of catching up on sleep and then hopefully try again to get this work week sleeplessness under control.

Man, oh man, do I feel good today! I dropped off the face of consciousness around 10:30 and the alarm woke me at 6:30. I should have gone to bed when I initially felt tired as I do feel that I could have slept more but I think going to bed before grade school kids would not have looked right.

I slept from about 9 pm until 5:23 am last night.
I was at school late on Thursday night for open house for potential families. I remembered that when Pete picked me up after last year's open house, she told me that her mother didn't feel well, and we got a call in the middle of the night that V had a stroke. Pete is taking a night class this semester, and it's hard for me to fall asleep until she gets home. I have to stay alert to keep her safe, of course. So very late nights on Tuesdays plus waking up at my usual very early time makes for one tired middle aged math teacher. |

I think I fell asleep around midnight and slept until 11am. 11 hours. YAY! Let the sleeping begin :)

Three and a half. I was NOT happy to wake up at 5:30am on a Sunday!!! I'm going to try going back to sleep even though I'm wide awake. I'll tell you how that goes.

I fell asleep just after 11 pm, and I woke up at about 6:23 am.
We are going to a tea dance later, so I'll probably take a nap later. I bet I sleep well tonight, woohoo. |
Sleep
I slept 9 hours last night.

I stayed up even though I knew I had to be up at 7am, so I got about 6 hours sleep last night.
I feel a nap in my afternoon....whoop! |

I got over 8.5 hours of sleep. Booyah! I've been waiting for that and it felt really, really good. I even lounged around in bed for another hour after I woke, just for fun. |
6 hours. I went out drinking last night, came home, passed out for 6 hours.

8 hours
I stayed up late because I'm on school vacation. I got in bed sometime before 3 am but didn't seem to be falling asleep and didn't want to throw my schedule off too much so I took an Ambien. So I slept from like 3:30 am to 11:30 am. |
I got around 7 hrs last night.

I got about 6. I had to get up ridiculously early and just wasn't tired when I needed to go to bed for a full 8. Well, I could have gone to bed about half an hour earlier if I really tried, but I didn't. I just need to make sure to get enough tonight.

I ate dinner at 8:30 pm, obviously too late, and had Brussel sprouts with onions and garlic (Vegetarian in the house). This was not smart on any level because I ended up feeling bloated. I googled what foods make you feel bloated and all three of my ingredients were on the top 10. And I know this. I love veggies and sometimes I'm able to eat them without feeling bloated and sometimes not. I really didn't feel better enough to sleep until after 2 am and fell asleep at 3 am. I slept until 9 am. |

Been about 4-5 hours a night for the past four nights. I almost fell asleep driving today. Early to bed for this gal tonight.

I am a night owl, (part vampire perhaps?) who has a difficult time keeping "normal" daytime hours. It has become especially difficult now that I am retired. So I struggle to maintain daytime hours for a few weeks, then it only takes a night or two of staying up a bit later and I'm back to staying awake all night and sleeping during the day. This makes going to appointments for Drs. and such even more of a hassle than they normally would be.
That said, I tend to sleep much better when on my night owl schedule, 9 solid hours last night, but I would prefer to go to bed at 1 or 2 am and wake up at 9 or 10am. |
Seven. And only woke up twice very briefly. Once to pee and once to eat a handful of salt. Chased the salt with milk so not to get indigestion. I had horrible muscle cramps in my thighs and beating them out with my fists was not working.
Anyway, I feel really good and refreshed this morning. :) |
I got between 7.5 and 8 hours. It was nice but I feel like I could have gotten even more sleep if I'd gone to bed sooner.
