The foster daughter of my Beloved. She has remained a part of our lives...sharing her joys as well as her trials.
Despite the many odds stacked against her...She has grown and bloomed into a self assured, hard working young woman. Last year she married in a beautiful river side ceremony. This morning she came into the store, all aglow-- to share with us the news that she is going to be a Mama. Happy tears all around! An extremely warm spot in a very cold New England day! |

Moments of true joy
Today I had to go to the hospital with my grandaughter which I thought was going to be bad. She wasn't feeling well.
Well the reason we found out is: I am going to be a GREAT GRANDMA for the very first time in 7 months! What a beautiful moment in such a hard week. May guardians bless this pragnancy and both my grandchildren through this wonderful time. I am stoked! Ha! |

Best week just happened! I was blessed with a sweet great nephew and sweet oldest niece passed the bar exam! It's great to be Aunt me! |

Sitting down with my family for Thanksgiving meal. It was actually nice today. I enjoyed spending time with them all. I missed one of my nephews though, he lives in Seattle Washington and had to work, so he couldn't make it down this year. I hope to see him next year or sooner! I miss the young man, he's a good guy that loves his grandma he calls mamaw.

My sister is coming for Christmas! It's been more that 20yrs since we've been together for Christmas. Many reasons that no longer matter. I've been crying and laughing in equal measure :rolleyes:
