For Rick - a long-ago exboyfriend who called today. He is living in a tent with his gf. He has a cold. He was arrested last week for panhandling. Another homeless guy broke his nose last month. May he find some hope and opportunity and healing and may he be safe.

Thank you, Blade. For a beautiful little girl with sweet freckles, Zahra, and sweet little Kyron Horman with his adorable, contagious smile.... and all neglected, abused children who need a safe haven and someone to look out for them and love them. |

For so many children....
... for those that go home to no heat and no food ... for those whos parents cannot manage their own lives and addiction, let alone their childrens ... for those who need help, medication, and attention... but are told there is "nothing wrong with them" ... for the ones who slip through the cracks ... for those who by 13 have already become to hard to show they care Especially this time of year my heart goes out to children, I go to work each day in a place that is supposed to support and nurture children. A school, where they should feel safe, protected, and comfortable. I know it isn't true. They come to us from broken homes, endure bullying and harassment within our walls, and leave us to be beaten and abused. I want to do more... and I will always do all I can. so tonight.... ... for the ones I can't reach. |

I haven't been in here, in a very long time, but felt it was time to light a candle of Thanks. My entire life has changed in the past few months. I have moved into a home that is my favorite place I have ever lived in, I have a new car that is both and hot and paid for, I am poised to make more money than I have ever seen, and I am respected for the work I do. I have a wonderful family that adores me And I am so grateful, and appreciative for my life. Thank you to the universe for providing for me. I came in here though to say thank you to some friends, that have loved me, and cared for me, and had faith in me as a human being, supported me when it mattered the most. Do you know how much I love and appreciate you for that??? You saved my heart from fading away, sometimes it does not take a lot to make a difference. For my father who has throat cancer. We found out about it 4 weeks ago. We take each day as it comes.
