Thankful for the patience my roomie.
Thankful she went black friday shopping with me beginning with waking at 3:30 am to drive an hour before the shopping began.
Thankful for her help in locating different items in a HUGE Bass Pro Shop store.
Thankful for her splitting time with me standing in line at check out. Since my accident, my knees don't let me walk or stand for very long at all.
Thankful she found Skippy some new clothes cheap.

Also thankful for my waitress and store manager at Cracker Barrel.

I have so much to be thankful for..

For my 2 daughters and my 8 grandbabies....

For a healthy heart, that wasn't so healthy a few years ago....

A job that I love and the paycheck that comes with it.....

The most awesome friends anyone could ask for......

I am sixty years old now and lately I have realized something ...

Everywhere I ever lived, I never had any sense of belonging. Not once!

Then I bought a very private little modest home on 2.19 acres in the woods last June. For the first time in my life, I am home and belong here. It is such an incredible feeling. I am a thankful person.

I imagine it will take me between 1.5 to 3 years to get all the grounds scraped and rid of the deep rotted pine mulch, to cut and haul as many of the pine trees I can handle alone. But once I complete this first deep cleaning, it won't be so hard and time-consuming to maintain. I look forward to it. :)

For music. It soothes my soul.

I'm thankful for love in all her forms.

Thankful I had a really great day and thankful for my goofball best friend that gave me many reasons to laugh...thankful for lunch at the park in the sunshine, thankful for special treats from the Creamery...and thankful for estate sales where we found several things to help with processing the garden this year.

Thankful for my new reciprocating saw that made really quick work of cutting down over grown, invasive saplings/bushes so I could clear the back yard and make the goats very happy as they received a huge pile of cuttings. Now maybe I can see from my bedroom to the "meadow" where the deer run in the morning.

Thankful for good weather since I've got back.

I'm thankful for affordable housing, clean water and excellent medical care. I'm thankful for my health and the health of those I love. I'm thankful for children who treat myself and others well.

I'm grateful for still having a heart to be nice to people even when I don't want to.

I'm really thankful for a day without any obligation to anything or anyone but myself, music, good food, and love.

I am grateful that my friends force me to go out once in a while, grateful for family (of course) even if they drive me nuts, grateful for old friends, grateful that I will have the house to myself tomorrow and grateful that I am made of Teflon.

Right now I'm very thankful that I have a job! I know plenty of folks that don't.

I am very thankful for and humbled by an amazing woman's love.

Friends & Family who truly understand and 'get' me

Thankful that everything is right again.

I'm thankful my mom didn't break another bone when she fell yesterday! I had my spouse at the podiatrist when my sister called to tell me our mother fell again!:blink:

I'm really thankful for the genuine concern and ties of friendship I have with my former first husband. His mom passed away a few weeks ago, and I guess my phone dialed his phone twice earlier today. Anyway, we talked for a bit, catching up on things going on in our lives. I'm grateful and thankful that we can be a friend to each other.

I'm very thankful my dear spouse doesn't need surgery! I'm also thankful for my best buddy helping me out when I need her. Thankful for second chances, fresh starts, promising futures, caring people here at BFP.

Thankful for (and it isn't even here yet) tomorrow being a brand new clean slate day! :)

Consistency and caring when it comes to My fam. I never have to wonder because I already know.

That the town I live in is so safe, one doesn't need to lock the doors during the day. Windows are never locked.

It's also safe walking out at 2 am to the 24 hour supermarket.

I dont even know what that would feel like. I live in one of the nation's highest crime and top murder cities, youngstown Ohio. Our top businesses are crime and drugs and prisons.

I have lived in other areas of the nation where it was really safe but I never felt like the natives there. Once you live with fear, and watch for shadows in the bushes, you never lose that.

I am ever so thankful that my car got fixed finally after a week of losing work to get it back and forth to the mechanics, the laundry is done after three days of doing it, and that a new week has started so I can look forward to seeing my grand daughter again!

Not being in the hospital anymore... was a scary and weird night.. thankful to be ok

Thankful for the little things that in the grand scheme of things are big things.

Glad they took care of you and you're out.. BECAUSE those hospitals are no place for anyone needing rest,,,they come in just as you nicely get to sleep only to wake you up for a blood draw or some vitals signs that would probable be just fine if you could JUST get some sleep!

I had a dream this morning where a surgeon was operating on my hips (I need hip surgeries on both hips for real) and he was doing the WRONG surgery. I kept waking up during the surgeries and telling him it was wrong. They would stop...the nurses would knock me out and then he would come back and start the surgeries again...

oh my god...I woke up and was SO thankful this was just a damn dream!!!
