sleeping in just 15 mintes longer....made a huge difference....even if it meant forgoing breakfast....
getting to work...gathering my things up and found a banana muffin I forgot I brought to my weekday client....hellooo breakfast! eating said muffin and lamenting not getting a coffee....when my clients son in law popped down the stairs and asked if I wanted coffee....they made 2 pots.... hell to the YES! so.....I sit here with my surprise muffin and more surprised coffeeeee and life....well....its just good :) its all about the little miracles.... <3 |

In the store today there was a mom and little boy (about 4 years old) who zoomed right in front of me. He was running so fast that the mom could barely keep up. She yelled at him loud and sternly as can be; "Don't forget to wipe your butt!!"

It didn't start as a smile...
Yesterday a pop up storm came rolling thru. (My fave by the way. Love to watch cloud formations and the sky darken. The sounds of big drops on the roof. And the surprise little hail pieces. ) As I was enjoying this, I remembered how I left my bed room window open. Mind you, I recently moved my bed under this now open window. This storm, opened up and made all the land super soaked. Thinking...my pillow was going to be wet. The more the rain came, I thought, now my mattress was going to be wet. Came home, and sighed along with a smile. I was lucky! Not a drop. This storm must have blown against the other sides of the house! The storms left and I was able to see stars as I slept :) |

spending the morning and most of the afternoon with my youngest...her energy is amazing...
driving down the road....womdering why I could hear birds so well...and realizing that my bug left her window down....and it wasnt cold at all... the way the sun slices through the clouds after a storm....we live in a world of such beauty... :) |

finding a promising path to savor tomorrow.... seeing doe~a~plenty and a surprise appearance by a falcon...in the woods... a shy woodpecker peeking around the tree to look at me...then hide....then look again..before flying off. and....as always....the exuberant reception I receive from my doggies when I get home... :) |

what made me smile today?
Helping my neighbor do some car work he couldn't do on his own. I got skills! LOL, but I hurt like hell doing it, my back is a mess but helping my neighbor is what I do best, he's a good friend.

Today was a balmy 70* with a bit of breeze,I had my son bring out the patio chairs and outside lounge chair from the garage,so after a good cleaning up(big bug watch,I hate spidies) I lay'd out in the sun getting a good kiss of the sun rays with my fur kids on each side of me.Where I go so do they,really.
