Almost sounds like that trio was back there trying to make some Rice Krispy Treats.........feel better Miss Katz

Gemme 01-01-2018 11:55 AM

About 5 hours or so.

FireSignFemme 01-01-2018 09:17 PM

I went to bed around five this morning, woke up around two this afternoon and now at 7 PM, again I'm feeling the lights begin to fade. So I'm going to try and make it through the evening news while playing a bit in the arcade, and then head to bed early.

I've had an awful upper respiratory viral illness which has made it nearly impossible to breathe while I try to sleep, but last night I slept nearly 10 hours due to hardly any sleep over the duration of my illness. I feel rested today and hope I'm on the mend. :bunchflowers:

OMG, I saw a spider and tried to catch the spider (to take them back outside), but I couldn't catch the spider....I think I slept maybe only two winks (2 hours, maybe ). :|

<<<<<<~~ might take a nap later today, if possible.

Seven and a half hours of comfortable and peaceful sleep.

Six hours of broken sleep and somewhere towards the end of it a very strange dream that I can hardly, barely remember, even the gist of it.

According to my Fitbit I got about 4 hours of sleep.
I wholeheartedly blame C because she kept me up most of the night with plans to take over the world, random laughter, and kicking each other under the covers like we've been doing since we were 15.

AND she invited my 70-pound Golden up into the bed with us which meant I had approximately 4 millimeters of room in which to sleep.

Good thing I love them both to pieces. <3

I think I actually got over 7 hours last night. It's been scarce lately.

Maybe two hours... I was worrying about a mistake I made at work yesterday. I realized I made the mistake around midnight last night. Then I couldn't stop thinking about it all night. Now I'm nearly sick to my stomach about it.

I know there's nothing I can do about it at this point but I'm not so good at the "letting go" thing. My anxiety level is pretty high so I'm trying to distract myself in the arcade.

I'm like this too but I turn the anxiety about the error into fuel to figure out the solution so that when I get back into work, I am armed for anything.

Awww, Mops, I'm giving you a big virtual hug. I totally relate. I'm thinking about you, hoping the mistake isn't as bad as you think it is, and hoping you go easy on yourself no matter what.

Thanks gals - unfortunately I've been at work for 4 hours now trying to fix the mistake. I called my supervisor to update her on what's going on. I was feeling pretty emotional after not having any sleep. Towards the end of the conversation I asked if I was going to get fired over this and her response was, "maybe." :(

So you have just as much chance of not being fired as being fired is what I'm hearing you say. Just breathe. What's done is done and all you can do at this point is to mitigate the damage as much as possible and do your best to fix it as best as it can be done. That must have been a really hard conversation. I'm sorry it happened.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

kittygrrl 02-25-2018 12:36 AM
