Quirks, scars and weird bits 'o trivia
One of my feet is bigger than the other. Noticeably so. At least to me.
I have psoriasis. Just a little bit in one spot. I'm very fortunate, since this condition tends to grow like Wandering Jude and spread fast and furiously, and I've only had it in one spot for over 20 years. I've clenched my teeth as a stress coping mechanism since I was 5 and one side of my teeth are shorter than the other due to the set of my teeth as I clench them. I also grind my teeth in my sleep sometimes. I have scars that in shapes and places that one might think that I might remember where they came from, but I don't. :blink: I found a paper showing a workup of me and what nutrients I needed and my weight, etc from when I was 22. With the exception of about a year and a half's time peaking at 180, I've fluctuated between 135 and 145 for almost 15 years. That kinda makes me feel good, even though I know that things look different because of the distribution of the weight and gravity and all, but still....that made me happy today. :) |
that silly game show where they open the suitcases for money and the guy calls with buy out offers.. makes me crazy.
i lose a pair of reading glasses about every two weeks im anal about how my socks are floded and put in the sock drawr i have a lil poodle for a dog i wont use a restroom unless theres good light |

When I was much younger, I could get by in four languages. Now, I'm lucky to remember english. :)~
My favorite cookie is oatmeal raisin. Walnuts preferred. I have a texture issue when it comes to certain foods. I won't eat anything slimy or raw. I have a small collection of foreign money. It started when my mother gave me reichmarks as a kid and that triggered an interest in collecting foreign paper and coins. I too, have an office supply fetish problem - especially when it comes to pens. I LOVE a nice pen. I can't pass a pen aisle without stopping. |

1. I ride my stationary bike to Marilyn Manson or Trick Daddy.
2. The song "Kokomo" immediately puts me in a bad mood. 3. I used to hate the band "Def Leppard" but heard the song "Love Bites" on the radio the other day and decided they needed a second listen, resulting in a Def Leppard buying binge on iTunes. 4. I think Rihanna is overrated. 5. I think that Tupac Shakur was one of the greatest rappers of all time and often describe his music as "poetry with a beat" to people who think they wouldnt like to listen. "Dear Mama" and "Changes" have been in my "Most Played" list on my iPod for 5 years straight. |
I've been known to go on major fly-killing sprees. It's a strange little stress-reliever.
I'm currently hand-feeding three baby cockatiels. I can't stand the smell of coffee. It can be a migraine trigger for me. I'm sometimes known as "The Pet-Pusher", because of how often I find myself looking for a "forever home" for various animals. I love trees. No. Really. I LOVE trees! |

2. I have my prom glasses. 3. I still have love letters from my first significant other when I was 12. 4. If you can't tell, I tend to hang on to momentos from my past. 5. I'm burning up some old memories tonight. I figure you can't hold onto things forever. And no, none of the items above are biting the dust. I'm thinking more recent stuff. |
1. In spite of my bubbly personality, I enjoy, appreciate and am grateful for my quite, meditative time on a daily basis. (I even have a Quiet Room!)
2. I will stand in the grocery store and read religious candles. 3. I buy them, too. 4. If I could afford it, I could have sushi almost every day of the week. 5. The only reason I didn't buy a cello yesterday was it had already been sold. <sigh> |

2. I'm not a big fan of wind. 3. I look (and sometimes apply) for jobs in different places even though I have one and can't leave it for a year. 4. For leisure reading, my tastes have changed from fiction to memoirs. 5. I just placed on hold 8 books for summertime reading at the local awesome library and can't wait! |

I love going to trade days,garage sales,antique stores and estate sales.
I shop at the goodwill store for stuff to decorate my house,a couple of weeks ago I found a very old violin with the case bow and all for $50.00. I have a colection of music instraments(sp) that I have no ideal how to play cause I cant cary a tune in a bucket. Collect cook books from near every where I have ever been...over 100 so far. Have an old record player along with many records that are out of print..think mitch miller,big band,old blues ect. |
I do not use an electric coffee pot. I use a French press; it even makes Folgers taste wonderful!
I like long walks on the beach, hunting for shells and shark's teeth...feeling the pull of the tide, and inhaling the salty breeze. I generally strip down to bare necessities as soon as I come home. Noooo I am not nekkid while typing, I meant down to my boxers silly. :blink: I make a mean green chili sauce. I am of Spanish and Indian descent. There are times that I prefer to sleep alone; I seem to seep more deeply and wake up well rested when I do. |

I bought a new pair of WHITE Nike Shox the other day, which is odd because I refuse to wear white shoes...
I tend to paint my toenails weird dayglo colors...not quite sure why... At 17 I was told I needed bifocals but I just can't bring myself to wear them (makes me feel dizzy)... I find myself enjoying playing "human drug dog" at work... I can't sleep with the curtains or blinds open...freaks me out...but yet I can sleep on the lounger on the front porch out in the open... |
