It's hot today,so staying inside and beating the heat is one.

This evening I have to go mow some more grass, kill a few weeds,chop down some dead tree branches.oh its gonna be an exciting day.

I went to the fruit stand and grocery store with my silky.
Now I am home cleaning then I will start dinner.
Tonight I will finish running errands with my silky.

Researching boob Dr's. I'm being petty today and have decided this is the last year I ever want to need a bra.

Well shit.

It started storming so the couch lady didn't show up.

BUT! I did get a lot accomplished.

Tonight's agenda will be a deep, hot bubble bath with a glass of good red!

More studying then a midterm exam in my Legal and Ethical Issues class. :(

Opened both the client and staff satisfaction surveys for staff to complete over the next two weeks. We made some changes to both so the analysis will be interesting. Then went to the pond and ate dinner at the gazebo. Then took my silky out to run errands and go to the baseball field.

Then went to the salon to get my hair done then took my silky out.

Well, it was going to be working outside. However, as I am writing this and looking out the window I can see the dark clouds moving in and I think we are getting set for a pretty big storm.

So, I feel a day of movies, books, and snacking coming on. Do I sound sad about that? ;)

Not a lot just being lazy

Went shopping for clothes for me, for a wedding.
Installed the apparatus on the toilet downstairs, so its easier for dad to use the bathroom.
Picked up a TV tray for dad as well at Target and I hate Target! LOL

Now that the deck is finished..
 

I have an outside anteroom to turn into a tool shed.

Also, going to help a friend move.

(That should be enough to land me into the shower later, where I commence to standing there until there is no hot water left.)

Cleaning...my oldest pet sat while we were gone
And she isn't exactly what you call "tidy".

Working in the garden. It turned into a jungle in the week we were gone.. Not weeds but just squash gone wild

Doing oodles of wash from our trip and hanging them out to dry

Hopefully cooking a nice dinner for my honey later

Maybe mow the lawn...but the bees are enjoying this particular flower that is in our overgrown lawn....and I rather like the attention they are paying (by proxy)to my vegetable garden.

Definitely bathing the little dogs..That will be next in fact

More moving mom today.

I broke down the antique bedroom furniture in my guest room to sell at auction. I am making room for mom.

Next we head to her house to pack and move more of her stuff.

Luckily my cousin is helping today.

Today is day one of two consecutive days of touring legislators around our building showing them how desperate we are for money for necessary repairs. And it will be really hot out again so they will see how perhaps some central air would be nice. This also means two days of dresses and pumps and being super poised while it's 100 degrees in there and the building is sweating so I hope I don't fall down slippery steps in my heels.

Go to work and start up my newly configured computer. The I/T department erased the hard drive and reinstalled the OS and all the software. I'll spend the morning making sure everything is in order. Our tech team is the shit! I'll remember them when we have our next People's Choice awards.

These are the last steps they'll take on my computer before buying me a new one. I"m hoping this one is good to go after the fresh reinstall. I really like this computer because it's relatively fast (an iMac i5 with an additional monitor with the thunderbolt hookup) ... we'll see later this morning.

Today I am going to take the day off. I need a day to just "be" and take a walk up this country road I live on and find a quiet spot to take in my surroundings- high on a hill- and soak up the Earth.

The above did happen and it was beautiful.

Today I still have that anteroom to turn into a tool shed so that will get started.

Critters are already fed.

However, first- off to make some expresso.

I need some expresso, too! I'll grab some on my way out to those million and one things I've got to get done today.
