Sexy music today.

Make No Mistake, He's Mine -- Barbra Streisand with Kim Carnes

Kim
Don't call him up anymore
Cause I don't wanna hear your voice
I don' t wanna see your face
Answer his door
Make no mistake he's mine he's mine, he's mine

Barbra
He only knows how I feel
I only know what he's like
When he needs me
Oh how he needs me
Deep in the night
Make no mistake
He's mine, He's mine, he's mine

Kim
Don't get to close when you dance

Together

Cause I don't wanna hear from my friends

Barbra
You were out on the town
There in his arms ( there in his arms)
There in his arms ( there in his arms)
Don't include him in you dreams ( I wanna be in his dreams)
Cause I don't wanna close my eyes (my eyes)

Together

I don't wanna know where he goes
Each might when he leaves ( leaves)
Make no mistake (make no mistake)
He's mine (he's mine) He's mine ( he's mine)
He is mine........

Kim

Don't call him up anymore

Barbra
Don't call him up anymore.....

To Duchess

You're batting a 1000 today, Duchess. Great classics and great taste in music. If you ever have a chance to hear Sinatra with Benny Goodman doing Where or When please listen. I mention it because it has the same kind of beauty on par with The Way You Look Tonight. It's older though, on the Columbia recordings in the late 30s before he joined Dorsey's band. But the digital remastering is very good.

I don't think anybody could ruin Where or When or The Way You Look Tonight and so many have done either/or through the years including George Michael who does a great version of Where or When. I like and have most versions of both songs but I just really like Sinatra and Goodman together. Great choice of music today. Sidebar: I saw Sinatra in the 80s; he's still the most eloquent performer I have seen to this day.

I grew up in a very eclectic, multicultural home where diversity was ever present. We listened to everything from Dean Martin to ancient Japanese music. My grandparents loved Sinatra, Martin, Fisher, Davis, etc.. I am forever thankful for the exposure.

Thanks for the Sinatra, Goodman tip. Will look it up. :)
