What would you give up for one more day with a missed loved one?

FemmeBibliophile 10-09-2012 11:31 AM

Wow... That's a hard question. I would give up my time. I would stop everything. I'd close the door to everyone for that day. I'd turn off the phones. Turn off the tv. Turn off the computer. I'd simply sit. I'd talk. I'd laugh. I'd cry. I'd say things I wish I had said. And I would put them as my focus for that time with no interruptions from the outside world. I would simply "be".

If the relationship you were in today were to end at midnight, what is something you would want to do/say that hasn't been done/said?

If I were in a relationship --wondering am I dying or just ending it?
Words are empty without the action to back it up.

Saying things in anger you can never take that back.

Would you rather be a gypsy or an aristocrat?

this morning. daily ritual.

supposing they are different choices, which is harder: choosing to do the right thing or choosing to do what's honestly right for you, and why?

Choosing to do what's honestly right for me is harder because it is more acceptable to do what is right for others and ignore the needs of self.

Tattoos or piercing?

i have both. so both.

supposing you experience both, which is harder to overcome, jealousy or insecurity and why?

Vivacious1 10-10-2012 06:35 PM

I believe that jealousy and insecurity are one in the same. I think that jealously is a result of our own insecurities. So, I guess my answer would be insecurities. I think we all have them, whether we admit it or not. It is hard to overcome them because they tend to be an intense part of ourselves, something we think is wrong with us. I know that I work on this daily, but does prove difficult.

If you could have a do-over for one moment in your life, what would it be?

Yes, never had a problem planning a party (or keeping a secret).

do you think G*d/the Universe/G*ddess/et al has a sense of humor? if so, what example would you offer as proof of that fact? (human beings dont count. it goes without saying that we're typically laugh-worthy)

what? this little guy? http://users.tpg.com.au/readmana/plat3-watts.jpg

well. it's embarrassing. so i'm not really psyched to lay it out. let's just say that on that particular day the combination of loose shorts, plus panty liner, plus my decision to wade hip deep into a river was probably not conducive to a terribly pleasant experience somewhere downstream. i can only hope that it was so far downstream that no one saw me and put two and two together.
 x 1000000000000

ditto back atcha

the most fearful? well, life right now is figuring pretty high on the list to be honest. been that way since the beginning of 2010 for various reasons that seem to just piggyback on one another. it's like it wont let up and it's kind of gathering speed too. crazy stuff.

what person do you inpsire most and why?

Yes, twice actually. One was to a guy that parked so close I couldn't open my door. I wrote thanks for squeezing me in & it would have been nice if he had at least left a can opener for me to get into my car.
The second was after I hit a parked car. YEARS ago. In my 20's. I wrote I was sorry for hitting your car. People think I'm leaving my name & phone number. I'm not. (I know, NOT cool, but it was my younger rowdier days.

Keeping the theme, have you ever left a note and signed it? What was the message?

yes. i left a message in a lover's childhood bedroom for the to find next time they went to visit the family. it said something appropriate to the situation.

have you ever kept your feelings for someone (good or bad) a secret from them? explain why.

Soft*Silver 10-15-2012 09:44 AM

yes I have kept my feelings silent about someone, because they were involved with someone else. I do not and will never interfere if there is a relationship already established.

Ooooo, good question! I *think* I would like to live in close proximity to an ocean. So, perhaps California or New England. My house would be fairly contemporary, so, modern with a vintage flare, but not so modern that it feels untouchable. It would have high ceilings, no carpet ANYWHERE, preferably poured concrete floors throughout, as many floor to ceiling windows as possible for maximum sunlight, a large master suite with an adjacent balcony, en-suite, and beehive fireplace. It doesn't need to be a huge home and honestly, I want each room to be a frequently used space - no rooms that just sit there waiting for company. So, maybe 3 bedrooms at the most. I'd also love a library and perhaps a dedicated exercise room. I have a thing for hallways, too, so lots of long hallways with wall space for my amateur art collection. I also love window-seats, so a couple of those as well.

This could go on and on, so I better stop there. :)

It would be built somewhere in the PNW, two story house with a finished basement, a few fire places, built in hot tub jacuzzi, modern kitchen, a room that has ceiling to floor book shelves, perfect lighting, sound proofed, computer, TV, sound system, furnished in a rustic woodsy decor with fireplace, and the house would have an outside porch that surrounds it on all sides.

My home would be surrounded by trees, fresh air, a dog of course and a stream, lake of some sort. The seasons of the year would be apparent. No sameness year round.

Yes I was totally honest as soon as I realized the situation and my feelings. I never want to use anyone or lead anyone on even for one day. I was as gentle and honest as one could be in those cases. Luckily for me the few times it has happened the women where very sweet very mature and handled the whole uncomfortable situation wonderfully.
