It's so refreshing, that it's soothing my tired muscles...even the rhythm of crickets are soothing...

I'd love to be sleeping outside tonight...but I hate the smell of Deet to ward off pesky skeeters...

Coming out officially on my very public photography Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FaireUnVoeuPhotography and not that most people in my world aren't already aware of my sexual orientation because I've never lived in a closet [aaarrgh!] and I've been out for over twenty five years but still, it's a beautiful thing to do today on National Coming Out Day and it's just so self affirming. I am also fairly new to my job having just been there a little over a year and while our culture is very diversified and open, it's a comfort to be who you are where you are.

I was at the grocery store shopping when I accidentally caused a scene. I accidentally knocked a jar of pickles off the shelf and they broke all over the floor. I told the man that I was sorry my butt knocked the pickles over.

It became funny when I told it to my sweetheart and we had a big chuckle over that.

My roommate finally resting peacefully after having a good meal of comfort food and finally breaking a high fever...

A beautiful Saturday spent not rushing or stressing about getting stuff done.

My new medical team is AMAZING!!
I'm a bit overwhelmed in a GOOD WAY at how Dr. A truly listens to me and has already, in a very short time, set me up with several specialists that I've needed for more than two years. I wish I would have found her earlier, but am soooo grateful I have her and her team now!! ...and another great thing that made my day, she isn't bound by "MCO" or insurance rules for how much time she spends with me (no 4 minute visits)...she spends as much time as she needs, and makes it a very relaxed environment (not rushed or pressured).

Her in house pharmacist spent over an hour with me to explain my new equipment and to do a "med rec" for the new Metformin...
They really make me feel valued and respected, rather than rushed and stressed out.

Finding THE RIGHT Care Team really makes a huge difference!

I've been feeding a stray cat in hopes of gaining her trust and giving her a home...

Tonight she finally let me get close enough to sniff my hand...she has made huge leaps compared to when I first saw her...poor thing

Having a wonderful day with my girlfriend made me smile. Went to the movies to see Gone Girl. Getting ready to have a wonderful weekend celebrating her birthday. Can't wait to surprise her wth tickets to see The Zac Brown Band on Sunday. She's gonna freak!! *smiles*

Hearing that my one of my nieces asked her female best friend to homecoming! No she is not glbt but extremely supportive of glbt causes and the community. Score one for more for acceptance!

going to Tampa for a job related conference on Thursday. It will be good to be away, it's one of those conferences where you don't really leave the hotel. However, I just decided to give myself some fun and made contact with old, dear, dear friends who live in Sarasota and will be spending a good part of the day with them on Sunday. Life is good
