Prayer and trust and your capacity to reason as a mystic give you the wisdom to recognize that life will always be full of challenges and crisis. The wise way is not to attempt to find one path that promises you will never have to endure the pain of loss and illness, but instead to learn how to endure and transcend when unreasonable events come your way. Learning to defy gravity in your world - to think, perceive, and act at the mystical level of consciousness - is the greatest gift you can give yourself, because it is the gift of truth. And as we are bound to learn again and again in this life, the truth does indeed set us free. — Caroline Myss |

She was kind and lovely and beautiful, the kind of soul you wanted to keep close, she was a dreamer, a creator of her world, a writer - her thoughts the canvas and her words painted pictures as if she was making love to every moment, she was quiet yet willful, she had these ages in her eyes that reflected centuries of wisdom but for those with shallow sight she looked like she wasn't old enough to know anything, she was everything and nothing, her love of life was so unique, she was the type of person you dreamed of getting close to but rarely did she let anyone in, she was an observer, a contemplator, she had intention in every move she made, she was wild and free spirited she really never wanted to fit in, she was pure and untainted like a newborn when it takes it's first breath, she was whole and secure but best of all of her qualities was the way she made others feel when they were near her, she was accepting, non judgmental, she allowed you to be yourself, she loved that about people, that pure unapologetic expression of who you truly are without any reason to explain yourself, without worry or fear that someone may not love you for you, yeah she loved that about those who were brave enough to love themselves enough not to conform, not to pretend or dim the light with themselves, those who have not surrendered, she loved them unconditionally because she loved herself in that same way. There is something about the souls who truly enjoy who they are, they express a level of peace and beauty that goes far past what the naked eye can ever truly see. ~Will "Story" Rivera |
“Throughout the centuries there were men [women] who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision. Their goals differed, but they all had this in common: that the step was first, the road new, the vision unborrowed, and the response they received — hatred. The great creators — the thinkers, the artists, the scientists, the inventors — stood alone against the men [women] of their time. Every great new thought was opposed. Every great new invention was denounced. The first motor was considered foolish. The airplane was considered impossible. The power loom was considered vicious. Anesthesia was considered sinful. But the men of unborrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they suffered and they paid. But they won.”

A good motto to live by: "Always try not to get killed."

It's pretty evident that "The Ellen DeGeneres Show's" producers and writers think a sketch based around making fun of a black women's ass (be it real or "fake") is just some good-natured ribbing. The end result, though, is something more like complete and utter disrespect.

[Sarah] "If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever."

Say to yourself...NEVER AGAIN!!! Never again...will I find myself in this situation...or beat myself up because of my past mistakes. NEVER AGAIN will I give up on my dream because of what someone else has said or because I've been rejected or experienced failure or a setback. EVER AGAIN will I not give my all or go all out, or represent myself as a powerless weak victim because of some tragedy that I've experienced. NEVER AGAIN will I go back to a life, a lie, a relationship, or a situation that doesn't represent the best in me. I am better than this...bigger than this...stronger than this! Don't let a temporary situation cause you to make a permanent decision about your possibilities and your future. Keep pushing forward despite the odds or how you feel at the moment. Give out but don't give up!! Dare to be GREAT!! You have GREATNESS within you!! — Les Brown |

If you mind your own business, you`ll stay busy all the time.

Go deeper than love, for the soul has greater depths, love is like the grass, but the heart is deep wild rock molten, yet dense and permanent. . Go down to your deep old heart, and lose sight of yourself. And lose sight of me, the me whom you turbulently loved. . Let us lose sight of ourselves, and break the mirrors. For the fierce curve of our lives is moving again to the depths out of sight, in the deep living heart. . But say, in the dark wild metal of your heart is there a gem, which came into being between us? is there a sapphire of mutual trust, a blue spark? Is there a ruby of fused being, mine and yours, an inward glint? . ~D. H. Lawrence |

"We cannot give what we do not have: We cannot bring peace to the world if
we ourselves are not peaceful. We cannot bring love to the world if we ourselves are not loving. Our true gift to ourselves and others lies not in what we have but in who we are." ---Marianne Williamson |
