Turns out we both need new glassses, but mine only slightly and his quite a bit more so...so his are ordered and mine are "on hold" for just a bit. Got him transition lenses too to protect the little redhead's eyes from all that Florida sun. :beachkids:

I have to get to work, but I promise to make it up to you all at dinner time! :)

It's cooling down and it feels like :bbq: night :cheesy:

We've got burgers, BBQ chicken and london broil on the grill, potato salad, fresh local corn on the cob, tossed green salad and icy cold watermelon. Dessert is build your own brownie sundaes....homebaked brownies, vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate sauce, sliced strawberries, whipped cream. :eating:

It's official, I start school on August 30th. After waiting almost an hour and a half in the financial aid dept, I was able to take out a school loan until my financial aid kicks in....I am excited...Now I have to go clothes shopping!!!!

Evidently we have a new asset manager handling the sale (our other one left the company...which was the delay), and they are supposed to be reviewing it tomorrow. I'm crossing fingers that we'll have an answer late this week or early next week. :candle: :candle: :candle:

Hope you two have a wonderful early weekend together, and a great time at the reunion. It's not in our budget or schedule for this year...too much going on with the house buying and moving and all. Maybe we'll get lucky and be moving while you're all partying! :)

i would have loved to gone to the reunion....however i didnt pay a lot of attention to dates and times,so it was here b4 i knew it.....however if i still lived in KY i woulda drove over for the night just bc.....maybe next yr once Jo and i are settled in our new place!

Thank you for dinner Jo Jo!! I am babysitting Elijah overnight, they admitted his mom into the hospital this afternoon. The dr is worried about the baby and the fact that she has lost 6 pounds in two days.

I am leaving plenty of hot tea and cocoa to help us all sleep tonight!!

Her hemaglobin and platelet count are really low so they are keeping her for the next five to seven days. I have a feeling, the dr's are going to take the baby earlier than August 25th to make sure they both are ok.
