Sitting across from my girl in our favorite asian bakery in China Town waiting on our freshly baked coconut buns. Life is good.

Getting to spend time with friends from high school and their families.

I got so much good news today, I feel like I have to pinch myself to see if I am actually alive and it is really happening. It is about time. :)

Dr telling me I can get out of the hospital and head home. Emergency surgery over with. Time to recover at home and get back to everyday life and work.

Scores of the game today since I wasn't able to watch it. She keeps me up to date.

My sister is learning how to do woodworking. Specifically she is learning how to make signs by using burning tools, etc. She is making me a sign that has the quote I have on my signature line. That made me smile.

Spending time with my new church family. They are loving, kind and welcoming. :hk1: And the drag queens like to dance up the aisle on their way to take communion. :LGBTQFlag:

I'm probably the only one smiling about this but I'm kind of excited about my first real blizzard.

I smiled all the way through the series of Zombie posts that dealt with human and doggie peeing habits and needs.

How excited young Mom's get at the most simple things that their children do, that truly are milestones. MM has used the potty to pee and poop all day! LOL

I know she is tired of changing diapers for three and a half years. Come April she'll be starting all over.

The realization that my family is bringing back the "Sunday dinner" tradition that we had when my grandparents were alive. It feels really good to sit around the dinner table with them, and catch up on everything that has been going on, and the laughter is crazy serious business. :)

I've got my snacks. But more importantly, I have 3 fully charged backup iphone chargers so I can play Ruzzle Adventure until I freeze to death. And alcohol to numb the pain. :)

My Mom called and I could hear her typing away on a manual typewriter?? So I said, Mom whatcha doing? She says, well I dug this old typewriter out (a Smith Corona Deluxe XL) and I wanted to see if it worked.

So here I was on the phone with her on my laptop and she was typing away on a typewriter she bought back in 1986.

Crazy business that made me smile.

She then proceeds to ask me if I can find a place that would sell the replacement ribbons. Ha.
