Stepping on the scale to see a seven lb weight loss in the last six weeks. I wanted more, but I'm not that motivated yet. I'll keep on with the big salads and carb watching (necessary as a diabetic anyways, at least for me!) :-)

My favorite drink is a dirty chai which is chai n espresso....soooo good!

What made me smile today? The fact that I am taking on more responsibilities at work. Hopefully that promotion of mine will be finalized soon cause Daddy is so ready for that pay increase.

My little baby Romee making her bed out of randomness. I found her in the middle of a towel pile this morning. She can just jump in mine and get under the covers, but apparently dirty towels are better :-D

Dad being home finally after about 3 weeks. Also getting some retail therapy in.

Spending the day helping my cousin doing a few things around her house.. Laughing @ myself for managing to paint my self on the top bunk of my nieces bunkbeds.. The sounds of their laughter because they had to tell grams I did it.. Love my nieces to the moon & back always a great time with them..

Time with my 8 year old nephew....him trying to help with he yard work, then offering to get us food or drinks. Later, watching a Disney movie together and hearing his laughter. Priceless opportunities that I am so grateful for each week.

Watching my puppies reaction to his first time in the snow and ice.

Can a dog be too affectionate?? My little guy won't let me do anything when I get home except let him attack my face with kisses and growlies for at least 15 minutes. I can't use my phone, I can't text, I can't eat.... Nothing. It's all about Smudge.

It's annoying as heck.... But at the same time I cherish it. I let him have his time, and then he eventually gets bored and moves on. It makes me smile for sure!!!
