I hate to have to admit exactly how right on this is this week. My beloved cat had a seizure and has lost [possibly temporarily, possibly not] her vision, her ability to vocalize [though she has now managed a couple of very small meows of the non-distress variety; she is not suffering] and there is some residual neurological impairment.

She is about to turn 13, so it is likely an underlying condition which caused her seizure. She is my best friend and we have really been through a lot together; especially this past year. While I am hopeful that the vet will say it was just a fluke and that she will be completely fine, I fear the worst. I would say more, but the tarot scope says to be quiet, lol.

Sorry; I'm crying and laughing [trying to stay upbeat] at the same time. On a lighter note, I really like my new job. :(.

Well, I knew it couldn't possibly be as bad a week as last! I do hesitate to slow down now, though, as keeping myself really busy is my way of coping with grief. I will be sure to keep a lid on my temper this week, though.

lol, to be frank, I would be quite surprised to find enough energy reserve to summon anger or passion at this point. I'm not sure I have anything left to give after the circus that was last week. I feel pretty tame right now.

Take. Definitely take (I suck at talking to people). But I'm holding off on the "taking" until I know where I'll be this time next year.

I have been stressing about work and budget stuff for the last month. I've got a three day weekend coming up. There will be plenty of chill time then.


I have already been trying to be content with what I have, I just need to be a little more diligent in teaching that to the kiddo.
