In 4 to 6 weeks I'm going to be the proud daddy of a new kitteh! I'm sure the other members of the pack will be thrilled, especially you know.. the alpha female cat and the alpha male dog...

A delightful breakfast this morning and getting work done quickly so I can enjoy this day! Breakfast at my favorite lil joint, Tracy's "a little taste of heaven"... knowing Tracy will make me pecan pancakes if I take him the fresh pecans. Being at home feels so damn good! ... gotta get chores done so I can play this weekend!

...the end of Rooster's school year rapidly approaching...he's done beautifully with Prinicipal's Honor Roll and straight A's all the way through

Taking some time out tomorrow to visit with my grandson and his sidekicks! He told the cashier at the grocery store the other day "Mommy's a pretty girl." My daughter was so surprised she started crying... :)

Then...Margaritaville with friends and colleagues....toasting yet another year of teaching and learning...year. 24 is history! Then....tomorrow - packing (in all ways possible) for a road trip! Woo - hoo!!!! ;) |
My sweetheart's arrival in just about an hr...or less....and having her all to myself the whole weekend...no phones...no computers...just us, the Island, and the dolphins...good food...quality time..just "being in the moment"...

My first weekend shift at the shelter and then possibly helping a friend finish moving if she hasn't already finished by the time I get out. Busy busy day... I better get my breakfast on :eating: aaaaaaand coffee :coffee:
