Tread carefully here sugar, but definitely ask her out for something casual where you two can talk. Communication is a key foundation in any relationship, and I would definitely suggest cutting out the middlemen to ensure you are on the same page and nothing is lost in translation.

It's obvious you really like this girl, however I feel it is prudent to identify where she is mentally and emotionally, especially knowing that she is unsure about your being trans. The last thing you want to be is a curiosity to her only to realize later she can't deal, after you are emotionally invested.

A red flag for me in your post was her stating that she would be interested after the final surgery, then stating a different attitude in a conversation with a mutual friend. While humans often change their minds, there's a difference in "waffling" and a definitive change in convictions. Only thorough a face to face interaction are you going to be able to assess where she truly stands. Should all go well, it could be the gateway to setting aside your fears and feeling comfortable asking her out! Having an open, honest conversation will help you determine the best thing for you, and ultimately the future of your relationship with this girl, whether it's staying just friends or something more!

I don't know if I am brave enough or bold enough to ask her and I'm not sure how to ask her out. I've dated a straight woman before. It was the longest lasting and most loving relationship I have ever had. (That ex told me yesterday that she misses me and would date me again. Sorry, but I'm not interested in going back to her.)

I'm rambling. I'm tired. I have a touch of the flu. LOL But... I will be seeing this person tonight when I go in to work. She's supposed to be coming over to my place sometime soon to pick up some furniture I'm giving to her and she will probably come to my birthday party in a few weeks.

I would not be okay with the hormones were this my child. Generally they prescribe hormone-blocking meds at this age to stop the masculinization process from happening, then provide hormones and surgeries at later dates.

Up early working on my Dis. Lots of work, but it is kind of fun!

Went to see my Thai friend yesterday. It was moms bday so me and a buddy took mom there for lunch. I wanted to be certain that my perception was not skewed of this woman's intentions towards me. My buddy said it was very overt and that she "wants me bad" LOL

Well I guess now that I am certain of her feelings, I now have to figure out what to do. I am still torn as to how to approach this. My buddy said that we looked very comfortable and natural together. It feels that way too. But, what risk am I wiling to take. I think this is the question I have to answer before I do anything.

Perhaps one day there will be a world where it is the content of ones character that is important rather than the color of ones skin or the structure of ones genitals.

Mick, I would gladly trade places with you or join you even! It is currently -4* here with a high of 15*. The winds will make it seem colder. How it can seem any colder than that, I'm not sure! All I know is it's too cold to even go outside! I just wanna stay in bed and bury myself under the covers!!!

It's 59 here. No sun, but fog, which is interesting since I'm about 150 miles from the coast. I want to open my windows but I'm waiting for the alarm company to get here to set up my new door. Of course that 4 hour window of arrival time will be at the last min, lol.

I'm up early and enjoying a nice, hot, cup of coffee. The weather can't quite decide what it wants to do here in Dallas. It was 79 on Thursday, now we are back in the mid 40's, and it is just generally grey and gloomy. Guess it is a good day to get my nails done, catch up on homework, and try out a new coconut flour bread recipe I found. I'll save the outdoor activities for a pretty day!

Warming up the smoker and about to slow smoke a bunch of pork. Shoulder, but, hock, sausages and even a hen. 8-10 hours from now will be mouth watering succulent pig! Yummmm
