being so drained and wiped out after spending all night in the hospital....again... they gave me Valum, on top of Toradol, IV Benadryl and a bunch of other things.... wish I could call them "happy drugs" this time... it's all I can do to get up to walk the puppies...

One good spot to my day.... looking forward to having dinner with a dear friend tomorrow...my "veggie-tarian" best friend. Excited about going to a new place... Tokyo Diner or Mikado Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar... and trying out something new for a change...the Hibachi Table where they cook the food right in front of you... (be careful of the flying knives!!)

Have a good day everyone!! The puppies and I are gonna snuggle up in a sunny patch and take a long nap...

I just got my "Trident Society" cards in the mail, to pass out to my loved ones in the event that somebody wrongly tries to stick me in the ground.

I want to be cremated and my ashes spread in some various places that mean something to me.

I'm so glad they finally came!

Thinking about my stepdad who had a pacemaker put in yesterday. Even with the pacemaker we've been told that he won't make it a year without a heart valve replacement, which will take place on Monday. This is very scary stuff, especially considering that he's already 84, and well..... a blood clot could totally blow his chance of any kind of decent future life as well. :(

It kinda makes ya think about life and all.

It's just heavy on my mind right now, that's all.

Today I was thinking:
I moved from Hawaii to Texas...
I thought things would change in my life (Not)
In Hawaii we had HPD(Honolulu Police Dept)
HFD (Honolulu Fire Dept)
I was born on an Island that mainly cultivated Sugar Cane and Pineapples as a way of life and Cattle Ranching.
My point leads too;
I moved to a place that still has HPD (Houston Police Dept)
HFD (Houston Fire Dept)
And I live in a town called Sugar Land which at one time was prevalent in producing sugar cane. And there are still cows everywhere.
Hmmmm.... Nothing has changed, has it????

the whole baking thing...
 
I don't know what's up this week with baking...

first I was going to make a sour cream poppy seed cake...I am Mad for some cake these days and don't like it when I am not satisfied!!...but, I never made the cake, though I have everything ready...

yesterday I got a new roll of parchment paper since it seemed like a good idea even though it's not a cake supply...

then, last night I realized that I have a bunch (get it get it) of bananas which have passed-over so it's time to make banana muffins...fine...

as I was shopping this morning I started getting supplies to make cookies...
so, now on the agenda are some cookies...oatmeal/chocolate chip (two kinds)/coconut/pecan cookies...

the bananas will only be sweeter tomorrow...

and yet...there is No Cake!!...

this is the result of being awake at 3:45 AM this morning and upright since 4 AM....not pretty, not pretty at all...

neen...who needs a time-out
