Not much going on at my place today, other than maybe do a very small load of laundry. My mother and I usually visit by phone on Sunday's, so I will enjoy our visit this afternoon. If the clouds move on and the sun comes out, I'll bask in the sunshine.... and, delve into finishing up a really good book, come later this evening. I may even bake some cookies.

I have my first vacation day from work since December.
I will be spending the day at the tattoo parlor and then meeting girlfriends for margaritas after. There are many worse ways I could spend a day. |
I go to work later this afternoon but I don't mind because I had a good day off yesterday. And hey, we gotta work for a living, right? It could be worse. :hangloose::hangloose::hangloose:

I want to get my car driveable! Yesterday I took it in and had the wheel bearings done. Drove it around, all was well until I went on the freeway..and the wheels started smoking
brought it back to the mechanic, who said the master cylinder was blown because the wheel bearings had gotten too hot. So it had to be changed..as well as the brake pads that were fried. (I was not charged for the pads) god..when I break a car, I really break a car... so when I pick it up, I have to drive it around to see if its finally fixed. Would be nice!! Lets hope I get this accomplished! |
I'm going to get all doll-ed up. I need to take a picture for my drivers license, time for it to get renewed.
Also, going to stop by my car dearship. The spare key got dropped and the battery and the back of the car remote could not be found. Well, amazon and others were way out there to get replaced. Somehow I sweet talked the sales manager to go thru his old keys to help me out. He is going to fix me up!! I've already had a nice phone call with Mom. She survived the first round of heavy rains in Arkansas. She was listening to the next round as we talked. |
I did some running around earlier. Now, I'm finishing up my second Redbox rental and will bring them back and pick a few things up at the store. After that, I'll check in with my Honey and then pick up the house a little and get things in order for tomorrow before Our date.

went to home depot to get a few 6 inch handle/grips and installed them both sides of wall at toilet. My dad needs help getting up off toilet and is falling more.Also bought a new cordless drill.....its VERY nice.... my ole Makita lasted 13 years.

I have had a week from hell and some of it: self-inflicted.
I went to bed @ midnight and woke up @ 9:09 AM. I can't remember when I last slept that late. Right now, I am lying on the couch it's 12 noon, I am not dressed and am watching The Amazing Race. This may be the highlight of my day. :scarytv: |

paying bills was accomplished.... starting laundry has not yet been accomplished.... I cant yet decide if I am going to the horse and tack auction yet tonight..... |

Besides work, coming home to rest. That didnt work out I ended up working on tomorrows agenda. Returning my boat cover to Bass Pro Shop
