When i was 18 and pregnant with baby #2 i found myself homeless with no one to turn to I made the decision that would never happen again.

When my dad passed away, and I had to hold everyone together. It was one of those growing up fast moments.

When I ended up homeless at 19. I only stayed that way for 4 months or so. I took steps to make sure I'd never be without a place to lay my head again.

I almost lost my vision. This taught me to be grateful more than anything. Most of my family weren't so lucky.

Having my art accepted for the Art Walk in July.

Becoming a Grandma, more my daughters victory then mine, but I will take it.

Finally after so many years of loving from afar, to be able to touch, breathe and feel my love. Sigh

Mohogany desk passed down from my grandparents, high-backed leather swivel office chair, 2 pieces of art that were also passed down to me, different types of stationary, various office supplies, a large handmade wooden ship, a small stereo system, a crystal paperweight, a gold letter opener, a small file cabinet, and one of those "supposed to relax you" type instruments where the 2 steel balls hit one another....:blink:...an hourglass and a leather horse that stands in the corner.
