Seeing Riley the 60 pound lab passed out on the floor.. We still cant have her and the Moose in the same room so she stays downstairs a lot. She enjoys her free time upstairs...

A friend sent me a care package in the mail. There was bubble gum, barrettes, Girl Scout cookies, a gift card to Barnes and Noble and a card that said,
"Dear A---, Sorry things are hard right now. Clearly, your life sucks. On the bright side, I plan to hit on you the moment you've been single for 6 months. Wanted you to know so you could plan your rejection speech. Be gentle. Love Jak" (Hy's joking but I did smile and the cookies are good.) |
Sometimes my pup sits under my desk, just to be close, but she's not comfortable, so today I had a bright idea, and pulled out the second drawer in my desk, put an afghan in it, and made her a nest right beside me. She is smiling and wagging. This makes me smile. My girl also always makes me smile. I like smiling!
